Thoughts on Helltides

Helltides are really fun and a great way to level alts. I have a few suggestions:

  1. Please move Helltides on each rotation. It seems more often this season that Helltides respawn in the zone it was just in. When this happens, the Greater Tortured Chest moves, but none of the other chests move. If you looted the chests in the previous Helltide, there are no chests to loot, wasting a great many cinders.
  2. Add more Helltide zones. Just like with the witchtides, we know more areas can be used for Helltides. The same ones over and over get really dull.
  3. Chaos rifts. Keep these in Helltides please, really fun and a great way to get crafting mats. Would love to see an addition of veiled crystals to the rotation.
  4. Mind cages. It would be great to add these back in Helltide for a tougher experience and greater rewards.
  5. Cinder dump. This season with the addition of the Abberant Cinder Chaos Rift, we end up with 1000’s of extra cinders. Could some type of Cinder dump be added to spend excess cinders? Maybe grant xp?

I miss having a super chest with a specific choice. We end up collecting all the chests and don’t have a farm focused on the tide. Maybe one chest per tide.

I’m honestly bored to tears with hell tides. The revamp they did a while back was great at the time but having to do then every season for the seasonal journey and getting IF keys just turns it into a chore and not something fun.

It would be nice to see either another revamp or an alternative at some stage.
