i really don’t get all the complaints. the game isn’t totally mindless now and legendaries actually feel legendary. ashava is very doable with randoms in tier 1, also. i’m not even a fan of blizzard and I am very skeptical that they’ll actually be able to maintain a quality game into the future, but all of this complaining is ridiculous.

Yeah, very much my view too.
This is a surprisingly good start from Blizzard in terms of balance.
I still expect the train wreck to appear later.
if you think this is fine you are delusional it doesn’t have to be face roll and loot everywhere but atleast fun and rewarding to play atm it feels bad with the nerfs and everything
i don’t know what to tell you. i’m doing fine and my guy has several legendaries. you can make them yourself and you get a freebie from completing the act.

For something to be fun and rewarding, it kinda also needs to be just a little bit challenging.
The nerfs seem to try to get rid of the boring facerolling.
Game was still quite easy. Just to a slightly less absurd degree than before.

No this is false.
Just because you had fun from something that was challenging does not mean that something has to be challenging to be fun.
Especially since every person has different preferences and plays games to get something different out of them.
world tier 1 exists for people who don’t like a challenge. i suggest you try it.
The quote was “fun AND rewarding”.
For it to feel rewarding to overcome something, there has to be something to overcome.
As for fun, I can have fun “playing” a visual novel, so no, a challenge is not needed for fun. But in a game with actual gameplay, if there is nothing challenging the player in that gameplay, why have it at all?
Just give me an example of easier ARPG game than D4 please. It feels like a classic MMO, I didn’t die even once. Why people complaint I really don’t know. You’re doing low level content, they made legendaries account bound, they must have a reason, right ? Now, legendaries are on the good spot.
