This is what happend the last years of D4 devolopment

  • Didn’t create a crafting system :slight_smile:
  • They didn’t even have a thought about creating a very simple way to use white and blue items :slight_smile: They made and drank coffee instead :slight_smile:
  • They made an open world that is full of useless tasks, like side quests :slight_smile: or “Events” that are copy paste from A1 to A5 like the Ghostboy :slight_smile: The Ghostboy Escort is a good event :upside_down_face:
  • They didn’t even build up on QOL things old games already had because they were to lazy :slight_smile: :slight_smile: to copy the stuff previous games actually did good :slight_smile:
  • They made Helltide with no Mobs and just figured 2 months later they need to increase density :slight_smile: :slight_smile: :slight_smile:
  • They accidently named an Event “Legion” instead of Zergtrain :slight_smile:
    Because you have to be very lucky to even get a chance to hit a mob pack before they explode a second after they spawn
  • They added three huge punching bags that spawn every 6 hours :slight_smile: :slight_smile: and the punching bags only last 15 seconds :smiling_face_with_tear:
  • They made nightmare dungeon affixes that are no fun to play :slight_smile: they thought they were fun but weren’t obviously :slight_smile: Why should backstabber, cold enchant, vulnerable resist not be fun :slight_smile: expain? :slight_smile:
  • They added D3 objecives as Tree of Whisper and hyped it :slight_smile: But its bad and boring :smiling_face_with_tear:
  • They had the chance to copy things from all ARPGs even their own but refused because they thought the new system is fun :slight_smile:
  • Horse stuck on herbs, little rocks :slight_smile: Lagfest with cooldown abilities :smiling_face_with_tear:
  • They crafted a system making you instantly port to waypoints if you stand on a waypoint :slight_smile: but nobody uses it because you don’t need to be at waypoints anyways and just wait 3 seconds :slight_smile: Weird but nice for us :slight_smile: I like using waypoints without being near waypoints :smiling_face_with_tear: I really do because running to them would be annoying so I am suprised they did this :slight_smile:
  • They wanted to make an MMO without Chatsystem, Group finding system :slight_smile: But they took a break and went out for a coffee instead :slight_smile:
  • Uniques with very unique aspects on them :slight_smile: One is quite good like Tempest Roar :slight_smile: Rest is not good and the ones that are good are not in the game if you only live and play this game 2000 years nonstop :smiling_face_with_tear: :slight_smile: If you play 12 hours a day nightmare dungeons assuming you clear each in 6:10 minutes :slight_smile: you will find your first Shako in 2204 :smiling_face_with_tear:

New standards have been set and the ceiling is very high for PoE2 and other ARPGs now :clown_face:

If they add the option to turn white item into blue they achieved more than D4 team :clown_face:

They spent an overwhelming amount of time on server-side code to make this sharding work for the open world. They also spent way too much time developing their cash shop instead of building a good game.

Sorry I turned into an emoji after playing this game 2 months. I lost my money and my time and my brain :clown_face:

Will now buy a skin for 2800 Platin but I will buy the 11500 Platin package for 99 € because that way I can save money :clown_face: And the game will be more fun with new skin :clown_face:

About the punching bags.
They adressed this issue and now we will get the same punching bags that will last for 45 seconds instead of 15 seconds :smiling_face_with_tear: :clown_face: 1.1.1 :clown_face:

Pulverize Druid will have fun now because pulverize druid can cast one pulverize with overpower if lucky two overpowered pulverize :smiling_face_with_tear: :clown_face: Big dmg, big number plenty ui :clown_face:

They had 10 years or more to develop this game but only put 5 years worth of actual work into the project then released it with years worth of work yet to be completed.
They created a console game and ported it to PC just like Immortal. Very sad.

The reason they can’t increase density is the same reason they can’t add a bunch more stash tabs.

You load every already-spawned mob’s inventory.

This is also why when you do cursed chest / pillar and dungeon side events, the density seems decent.

Those mobs weren’t spawned with the bulk of everything else so they don’t tank performance, especially on the consoles.

Having to terminate the team that had the D4 vision was not recoverable. I guarantee if that team stuck with making this game, it would be much better.

They didn’t though. They thought they could pivot the franchise to mobile and tried to sell us Diablo Immortal. After seeing the disastrous reception, they started developing D4 and were working on two diablo games at the same time, with the results being absolute garbage for both.

Hats off to the greedy corporate jerks who have destroyed an amazing company and turned an amazing franchise into recycle bin liner on the desktop.

At least we will always have the predecessors. Sadge.

Well the original team that started development on Diablo 4 were all forced out of the company due to the harassment claims etc. Had none of that ever occur, the game would probably be in much better shape. In the very basic foundations of the game, you can see the vision that they had. But the execution is so poor, I have to assume this is the reason.
