I’ve played this game on launch and every season since and I don’t ever remember the game feeling like it’s on as much fire (not in a good way) as it is now.
Is this normal for Blizzard expansions?

It’s the dev cycle’s fault. They made so many improvements in the previous seasons, but VoH is more of an iteration of D4 Season 1. We’ll have to wait a few seasons for them to regain ground, then lose it all again in the next xpac (presumably a rehash of the Dark Wanderer story of D2).
Man, I have never played a game that has been such a roller coaster ride.
It makes crypto price movements look tame in comparison.
