Ive been playing since launch. Every season.

Just found myself standing in one place, counting 15 elite monsters around me. Im holding one button, not moving … and im winning. I dont care what monster type they are, i dont care what their powers are, it literally doesnt matter. There is no gameplay anymore.

This game has been ruined by pandering to the complainers and honestly, its a freaking shame. Yall had something, and you let profit and microtransactions run the show.
Sucked all the fun out of the game.

Details like class, level, basic gear idea, & paragon points might help us understand the issue better. But I can guarantee none of my characters could do what you’re describing.

Any meta build and many off meta builds can evaporate way more than 15 elites at the tap of a button.

Pretty sure many builds could do the same thing even if you replace elites with tormented bosses. 15 Duriel at the same time? Not a problem.

Im genuinely sad. Just sad about the state of the game.

More because of relationships that ive made because of this game and then subsequently losing touch with these friends.

There is some emotional capital that is lost in all of this and that is what i actually feel bad about.

Play PoE and get the gang in with ya. D4 is more casual power fantasy. if you want something more stimulating, that is the way. Choices.

Also, I know I enjoyed this game a lot more after taking a long break, but yeah, I’m either melting everything or the screen is full of stuff melting me, there is no in between.

Yea, not arguing that no build CAN do that, just suggesting that more detail would be helpful, & my very definitely non-meta build couldn’t.

Yeah if your following a build that’s “Meant” to do what your saying OP, what do you expect?

I’m playing a sorcerer that I theory craft and I can handle Tier III.

I don’t know, maybe play a different class then w/e class you chose?

I was on my hombrew Sorc. I just transitioned from T2 to T3.

eeeesh!! Well good luck, I don’t think I’ll be able to handle Torment 4 till I get my glifs maxed.

One of my characters this season didn’t even have to press buttons until T4 to delete packs of mobs. Between auras, hexes, procs and rune words I can simply run anywhere and things just die.

And it is surprisingly fun, but it’s meant to be a farming build so I can try other stuff later this season.

Yep. I finished the season yesterday. Only logged on to help friends.

Game is a repeat of D3, in another few seasons, they will last a day/few hours

I guess Ill play something else for the next 2.5 months.

I have played at the maximum diffuculty every single season. I know it’s the same in T4. Lets not pretend the game changes in T4.

I had just transitioned from T2 to T3, so my resists were in the 40s. This should be HARD and it aint. I know what im talking about when i say all this because ive played for 6-8 weeks every season. Ive watched this game progressively devolve into whatever the f … this … is. Its a shame.

And its a shame because im a diehard.
Beat diablo1 before d2 came out. Bought every single game and expansion since on the day in launched. I have the awesome art print that came with the ultimate collectors edition up on my work office wall.

But i listen to these guys on these campfire chats and … i see the passion, i really do, but its all like … more, bigger multipliers and flashier screen-clearing abilities with no cooldowns and … the grit is gone. Play has become going through the motions.

Try playing Torment 4. That should give you a challenge enough, If not, well then I suppose your done for the season? :man_shrugging:

I’m not sure what you want us to do for you. I’m sorry you’re unhappy, but I don’t think we have any power to give you back what you lost. :frowning: . Sorry that the experience has been altered in a way you no longer enjoy.

Dude copypasted blood wave necro for the easy kills now complaining about easy kills? Try doing that with ice shards or charged bolt sorc, there you go.

Players have also been asking for balance since day 1. It’s Blizzard who through the game out the window with their incompetence, NOT the players.

Anyone that blames the players, no matter which side you’re on, it’s a major L take. The community speaks, Blizzard CHOOSES what to do.

No need to be confused. Upon reaching T1 all the content in the game is available to the player. You can stay at T1 and do everything in the game. Upping the Torment lvl offers literally nothing new since more drops and experience is not content.
