Note: It’ll lock the Blizzard account and not just D4 so… if you have other games that need online access to play from Blizzard this would be a bad option

There are no refunds from Blizzard themselves (its a scam company wearing blizzard’s corpse’ s skin, you have to get a denial notice from blizz first though after requesting refund)
Once you are refused refund by the scam company, you take their refusal with you to the bank or email it to your creditcard/bak that you bought this crap heap with and CHARGE IT BACK explain to them how you were bait and switched and how its not the product advertised and you’ll get your money back.
Please chargeback the game if you hate it, we need to send the message to the devs “you make garbage, I’M NOT PAYING FOR IT”
and yes white knights, I refunded 3 copies of the game through my bank and all 3 were upheld (2 copies are still playable even though I refunded them cause blizz is just that stupid)
Blizzard IS SCAMMING US and the banks agree! Take your money back from bobby’s sobbing clawing fingers today!

It’d suck to, say, be active in WoW and then, essentially, cut your nose off to spite your face type of scenario. Diablo franchise is really all I play from Blizzard now so if I was at their point of annoyance w/ D4 it wouldn’t matter to me much.

Yeah don’t do the chargeback if you have a wow account attached that you care about, since there’s a mount for wow included it’s essentially extortion from blizz “you wanna charge back our scam? well say bye to the wow account we anchored a reward into!”
(they will just force you to re-purchase diablo though, I did this in the past not thinking about the tyrael’s charger promotion way way back and had to pay the (was it a 6 month sub?) to get the account opened again.)
last thing ill do is hop back into a 20 year old game that somehow manages to get worse every expansion

Just an FYI, false chargebacks are considered friendly fraud, which while it likely will not be prosecuted, it can absolutely screw with your credit rating.
So it has real world consequences that can come back to bite you outside of the game.
