I know how much we love to discuss the flaws of Diablo IV, I am not stranger to this as well. And you can probably identify yourself partially in the criticism of people like me if you have played previews diablo games, notably - Diablo 2, as the generation of Diablo 2 is something unique by itself and it has a very specific “odor”. Very different one from the rest of the gaming world.

However, despite this criticism old fans like me tend to give, we still do play the game. (generally, I know some did quit earlier).

So if an old dog like me, critical as it is, never actually uninstalled Diablo IV, ragequitted session or had other similar “excessive emotional events”, and he still can log to his Win10 on an average day and launch Diablo IV first from his all long and very well compiled list of massively good old and new games, then it just simply means that this game rocks. Take it with a grain of salt if you like, or even a pile of rock dust, delivered by a bashing barbarian, it’s all the same, the simple truth is that:

This Game Is A Hit

extra pun intended since we do not have actual hit or miss system in diablo IV :relieved: :innocent: :smiling_face:

I played to around level 50 on the Necro and uninstalled.

Diablo 4 is very good as a casual game. If you want any sort of depth, then it is not a very good game.

I think people should enjoy it for what it is instead of hating it for what it isn’t. There are plenty of other games out there for those that want depth.

Yeah, D4 is pretty good, I’ve got 1000+ hours into it and I enjoy it. I rate it at 7/10.
It needs some more work, but I think given enough time, they will add more things to do and hopefully push towards that 10/10 rating some day.

Agree, love the game too. I am critical from time to time but it is because I feel concerned by how the game evolves.
I admit I ragequitted once, at the start of S4 because the new itemization system killed my eternal builds. Was back in a couple of weeks later… Yes, my eternal builds matter to me.

Eh…game had too many QoL downgrades compared to D3…way too many. Look and feel sure…but $70 for primary just look and feel? Nah.

Very fun game, for a little bit.

This season 4 i Got 3 days/played on a necro and 5 days played on barb + like a day or something spread amongst 2 other alts.

Decent chunk of time, was fun, But i can’t realistically get any higher gear without going into trading.

I have not launched the game for a few weeks now.

You can enjoy something and then simply… move on, You don’t have to 24/7 Diablo 4 the entire season :slight_smile:

I’m not sure how he will wield a shield and a crossbow. Oh ya 4 weapon slots :slight_smile:
