This game is a cash grab... stop buying people

Don’t get me wrong, I am totally in love with this game, but paying $100+ for a game and then Blizzard sells cosmetics for $25 too… I mean come on Blizzard.

If you ask $5 or $10 I get it, making cosmetics takes time and you want an additional income, but $25 for cosmetics while the game itself is more expensive then almost any game that has been released recently?

You did the same with Overwatch. You’re company makes hundreds of millions profit, and you still want more? Instead of being so selfish, give us normal prices and more people will buy your cosmetics.

You screwed over Overwatch I mean, 8 out of 10 matches have retards in them that refuse to change class (whole point of this game is to change class and counter the opponent) and the game, in the last years, just became a total money grab.

You did the same with the mobile version of Diablo. Spend 10k to be able to win… I mean… get real.

And now Diablo 4. I am really in love with D4 but this definitely will be the last Blizzard game I ever purchased if this is the direction you guys are going.

I mean " play like you want" … nope… only the darn meta builds again. Like always, Blizzard had a good idea but managed to fug it up and not deliver.

What amazes me the most is how dumb people now a days are. If they make the cosmetics $100 people still buy it. Maybe, just maybe… if those people would use their brains and everyone would stop buying those cosmetics, they will fall back to the normal prizes.

Don’t get me wrong, I work hard and I can afford to buy the skins, but that doesn’t mean I should think it is fair what Blizzard (or the whole gaming industry lately) is doing… it just baffels me how ignorant and -or stupid some people are to just keep paying and paying and paying instead of standing up together and stop supporting these kind of scams.

The game isn’t $100 unless you want it to be.

It’s a AAA title, which alone will be ~$70 regardless of publisher.

Deluxe and Ultimate editions came with added perks.

Ya, cosmetics shop is laughably overpriced, but the base cost of the game wasn’t exactly outlandish.

Well… a game that required ZERO tactics… it is literally stand there, press space to dodge and hold ur mouse button… I mean, that’s not worth 70 but lets say it is… fine… but the skins are absurd. Period.

I will stick to the battle pass skins. The shop ones just cost to damn much.

We both know that there’s more to the game than holding left click and tapping soacebar every so often.

This isn’t clicker heroes.

Not if you are in a group. You can macro your cooldowns to one button and attack with the other.

I mean, if u ignore story, cinematics, VA, overall gameplay, ig mechanics, etc, sure. It’s just like Clicker Heroes.

All players have only bought the base game. There are 2 expansions + seasons coming so you’ll be spending way more on the game in the near future.

Dont feed the trolls folks. Newly created account and every thread is just negativity so far. Its the classic andy forum poster trying to serve up dissent. Ignore them and move along and your life will be that much better.

Theyre only cosmetics. Not p2w features. Quit crying my lord.

Blizzard would be foolish not to have a cash shop - it’s how things are done these days. It’s almost free money for them because players eat that stuff up and like to spend the coin. Why should they turn their noses up at a significant source of revenue?

If the art in the game was terrible, then yeah, I would feel almost forced to buy a skin that appealed to me but I’ve been pleased enough with the gear artwork in the game, that I haven’t felt compelled to buy any cosmetics. I actually find that pretty refreshing.

I don’t think it’s a cash grab, but the mtx is egregiously priced. I was intending to support the BP but once I saw the shop prices, that went out the window too.

No reason to support it at all imo. I’ll stick with just the base game for however long it lasts.

just complete the game and watch the credits. you’ll see there are THOUSANDS of people involved in this game = they all need $$

having cosmetic options for $25 is probably how these companies can manage having THOUSANDS of people work at blizz

you gotta think a little bit before you cast stones

I like the terrible prices. Now im not tempted to waste my money on them

Yeah I couldn’t believe my eyes. Crazy. Which is why I believe somewhere in D4 there is a good game. And I’m convinced they stripped out all the good parts to sell them in upcoming expansions.

See: Overwatch 2, Diablo Immortal, etc.

The giant corporation just wants a lot more money.
