This Fixed the FENRIS Crashes for me

Wish I could give credit to the person in trade chat who told me, but adding -nostreamline to the additional command line arguments in game settings absolutely fix the fenris crashes. Haven’t crashed once all day today or yesterday since adding.
In the bnet launcher, click the gear next to play game, game settings, and where it says “additional command line arguments” put -nostreamline and thats it.
I got consistent crashes before, where it would freeze and exit to desktop with a fenris window and error code, bout every 90 mins. None since adding that. cheers!

So they bring DLSS back and it starts crashing again, disabling it AND reflex along with the -nostreamline and i dont crash anymore.

**Update: Using game ready drivers ver. 566.03 im able to run with dlss and reflex on now, but if i update to the newest version it crashes until i disable reflex and dlss. I reverted back to 566.03 as i know its good.

this is 2024. not 2004 bliz. there’s no reason for crap like this to happen. do better or face the wrath of an entire player base leaving

it didn’t work for me at all. Besides it’s pathetic that players must change some things or get help from each other because bilion dollar company can’t optimize game

If you want that: buy a console

Console/iPhone/Deck/…: easy to check the game on that 1-5 configurations that are available (for each generation)

PC/Android: Many CPUs (instructions, # of cores, clock speed, cache, …), many GPUs, different RAM sizes+speeds+…, same for disks, …
So it’s basically impossible to test the software on each configuration and fixing a problem might cause problems for others (or add many lines and a different compilation of the program for certain machines). (So more players = more configurations = more problems to fix)

And:
When the crashes started it looked like many players had ignored the minimal configuration for their system. (e.g. using an iGPU → “But it should work! Optimize your game!”)

(My 7yo piece of junk managed every season so far with 1 crash in > 1 year and unupdated drivers since I started… hmmm… .
Friends had used newer systems and they got from 3-5 crashes down to 0 in the last few months. All 4+1 systems above the requirements. All custom built.)

Are you still getting the fenris crashes with error codes? So far all my friends with this issue and responses on here have been successful, with reflex seeming to be the culprit, but would like to know if u have the same issue.

Does not work permanently. Did work for a day or two.
