Why can’t these devs ever get melee right… Seems like every game this company produces just fails miserably until some one from the community straightens them out. (Indalamar, or Ramaladni RIP). My friends sorc tanks harder than I do now. My damage was the only reason I was still able to stomach playing. Now that is gone too. If I cant kill things before my shouts wear off I have to run around in circles and wait for them to come back. All other builds are clunky and slow, swing 20 times, unload, swing 20 times unload. There is no fluid gameplay.
Having a game that can be updated after its “finished” for release with this always online sh*t has allowed these companies to release utter garbage onto consumers for a finished product price. I wont be buying anything else blizzard related for a while again. Definitely wont be spending any money in that cash store.
To those that are angry at people for complaining. I don’t have time to watch videos, read patch notes, hunt for different stat gear just to level my f****ng character. I have limited time to play this game and when I log in one day to see my build got nerfed into oblivion I don’t want to spend 2-4 hours per week fixing it. Where is my free respecs? Where is my refunded gold? Why do I have to spend playtime fixing something that should have been polished and tested already? How long do I have to request a refund?

The worst for me is that people who rushed to end game before all of the nerfs are already past the part where the nerfs hurt.
Early - mid game, good luck have decent uptime on your shouts. End game, still good luck but at least it is doable.

yeah that is my point. I can’t even level without spending hours of game time trying to fix whatever they nerfed, combing through forums and patch notes. Finding out they are ghost nerfing things too.
Put in a ticket for a refund, if they refuse I think ill just reverse the charge.

Just saying if you do a chargeback you will lose access to every game on your blizzard account, just in case you still play D3, OW, CoD, WoW or any other Blizzard game.
There is no game in the modern era that comes out and never gets an update after launch, so I’m not sure what you are talking about. To be clear, I am not “angry” you are complaining, I am confused because what you are looking for doesn’t exist and this game was never advertised as such at any point. If your sorcerer friend is doing better than you then he or she is probably better at playing the game than you are. The running around is kinda something that every class has to do from what I have seen. You can’t just stand there and trade blows with everything.
Also, I saw your second comment about reversing the charge. I’m pretty sure they will dispute your reversal and they can prove you purchased the game legitimately. That kind of fraud might work on small mom and pop companies that don’t always bother to dispute reversals, but I would imagine Blizz fights for every dollar. Good luck.

I don’t mind updates, I don’t mind tweaks. Completely gutting a class after I have spent hours leveling up glyphs for is bull. Instead of leveling now I am trying to go back and fix something that wasn’t broken in the first place.
Releasing something that doesn’t allow you to connect for days, wont let you change zones, and isn’t finished is actual fraud. Not asking for a charge to be reversed because what was sold wasn’t as advertised. My dispute won’t be that the purchase wasn’t me, rather the company tried to sell something that wasn’t a complete product.
This is the new age cope that is the reason “modern era” even exists in the first place. Rushing to release some half assed not tested garbage isn’t cutting it. These companies need to be held accountable for their product.
If you bought a vehicle that needed to be taken to the shop every day in order to make it run you would get a return based on lemon laws alone. Consumer protection needs to move itself to the digital age now. Clearly these companies and their few brainwashed customers don’t understand getting what you pay for. 80-100$ for a game that isn’t complete, tested, balanced and runs well is a scam not “new era”.

I don’t think you will be able to prove the product isn’t “finished” based on what you are saying. I also don’t think charge reversals would go that in-depth in terms of the why. Banks really only let you contest charges if you claim fraud is involved. If you try to argue that “something I bought didn’t work the way it was supposed to” that is not a legit reason for them to reverse a charge. You would probably have to go directly to Blizz for that kind of argument, and they will probably blow you off.
You could try going to small claims court, where you would have to prove they had malicious intent to deceive you into buying an unfinished product but I doubt you will make it far based on what you have said as their terms of service you agreed to cover all the issues you mentioned.
Not saying you shouldn’t take a stand if you feel that strongly, but I’m not going to give you false hope in saying you have any chance of winning. Again, good luck.
My bank allows contested charges for non delivery of what was advertised. I have never had them not side with me. We will see, I already appealed customer support. That would be my final solution to the Blizzard question. Do I really want to support this company anymore? I was already greatly turned off by their treatment of female counterparts. Now it seems they can’t be bothered to spend a little money on testers to release a product that is playable.

Yes I agree. I’ve been playing Barbarian since early access. Whirlwind got nerfed, small AoE, small spin cycle, and only becomes powerful at end game not along the way.
Note: Only way Barbarians do great is at end game with our preferred gear. Along the way Barbarians are like kids with sticks against.
Next for Barbarians to get great attack power is to get strength just to do damage. Only way to get strength on weapons are spending 100 million gold to roll many times just for one affix on a weapon from the occultist. If Blizzard fixes the gold costs and how many affixes we can replace on weapons. This would help our class out in the long run even at end game. Until then I regret picking Barbarian and buying Diablo IV since being Diablo one veteran.

I think this needs to be underlined. I’m “end-game” now and Barb honestly feels fine but it seriously requires you to be around level 80 and min-max your paragon board just to unlock everything ASAP and make it feel good. ONCE YOU GET THERE it doesn’t feel that bad, but Pre 75-80 it feels bad, especially if you haven’t gotten some of the uniques yet.

Yeah you got there before you had to stop mid-leveling to re-level glyphs and spend stupid amounts of money on changing gear/skills/paragons. It really sucks up playtime and makes me not want to log in again. I fixed myself after last weeks debacle and here we are again. This should have been tested and balanced long before release. We are paying blizzard to test their game and its frustrating and a waste of my playtime.

I shouldn’t have to play for 100 hours JUST for gameplay to get fun and fluid. Currently like pre lvl 80 feels like the first few hours of a d3 season, where u had to “get by” til u got the set.

Banks allow people to do chargebacks for not only fraud, but also incomplete purchase, product misinformation and other things similar. I did a chargeback on a different game for the same reason and although they tried to refute it, the bank honored my request.

I don’t care what .00001% of the player base does, neither should you. Just because some sweaty no life nerd that hasn’t showered in a week does something means very little to the 99.99%. Yeah the gauntlets were broken, and they got fixed. What does that have to do with anything? Are you trying to prove me correct on my opinion that this game is no where near ready for release? That should have NEVER made it into the released game.

This is the exact opposite of fraud, what these gaming companies are doing is fraud. Reversing a charge and returning a product due to it being incomplete and bug ridden isn’t fraud. Taking some ones money and refusing a refund after failing to deliver IS fraud. Yes I have been to court, sued a contractor, won, got paid back ++.
Fraud isn’t returning a broken item, fraud is selling a product that is mis-represented.

That is an exploit. I believe how it works is having a combination of affixes on gear that lets you perma sustain whirlwind, activating wotb and spinning in place for several minutes which is snapshotted which is what causes crits in the hundreds of billions
