Until now i was doing my thing playing whatever build i felt like but this content drastically constricts what’s viable in the game. So sad to have this season gone to the trashcan.
well you need at least a build that is viable to do nmd 100, just as they said.
This isn’t true. Try a build that isn’t through the roof. And dont tell me about your perceived ranking of your bone necro. I have read it 1k times already. I played Stormclaw that WAS ranked S tier and could tank NM100s all day and completed 3 of 18 AoZ one runs and had to cheese the bosses with shrines on all three runs. There should be no comparison to NM100 and being able to run them means absolutely nothing in regards to the new AoZ content whatsoever.
Can you pull your head out of the sand one minute?
Any build can comfortably run NMS100 but only a handful even stand a chance in AoZ
Sorc? Good luck trying to get past 5 (or even 1) with CB, Firewall, Conjuration, Fireball, etc - all VERY capable to run NMD100
Necro ? Show me any build from anyone going past 10, who is not a form of infinimist? All other specs are in the sewer…even if they could roll over NMD100
Barb? Rogue? So you see a pattern?
whats the issue with “just being able to do tier 5”?
the content is out for a day. You dont have to be able to do t15 now.
im sorry you dont feel godly because you dont do anything higher than t5. If you want to feel godly, do helltides.
Yea except the viable pool for nd100 is drastically bigger this content reduces viable builds dramatically. Is just so sad to have this game gone like this.
I admit that I only tried once yesterday but I was making good headway clearing content then was one shot by something near the end.
The thing I prefer so much more about the D3 greater rifts is that if you die you get a time penalty on reviving so if someone has almost completed the rift they at least have a chance to finish it. If you aren’t good enough and die too much the clock keeps adding time to your revive and it will run out. Then you go back to the drawing board and make tweaks to your build. To me, this is so much more fun.
iuno, i see quite a few builds doing decently. of course they dont jump into t10 just like that.
I think most people are really just missing out on a lot of defensive stuff.
of course having an uber or two also helps a lot, but thats just the payoff for people who grinded massively.
I mean honestly, uber items werent really “needed” for any type of content ^^
Yep, it’s crazy how this team will directly copy/paste ideas from previous titles, but do it so haphazardly, it doesn’t feel even relatively comparable.
This team is capable of taking any good idea and making it feel terrible.
at least i belong to the d4 audience so its pretty normal im here. since you dont even play, i must wonder what you are even doing here.
Just spreading the good word (that every other Diablo gamer agrees with), so Blizzard doesn’t think the Goo-Crew (you and your zombie kin) are the only ones that care about the franchise. Especially since everyone quit with the big nerf patch and this place started allowing the white knights to have a voice.
79% positive reviews in the last 30 days and 69% positive reviews since release on steam.
yea. keep trying to “spread the good word”
2.2 out of 10 https://www.metacritic.com/game/diablo-iv/user-reviews/?platform=pc
And it actually has mixed reviews on Steam, lol, even after the recent patches: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2344520/Diablo_IV/
“But it has generally favorable reviews in the last week!!!” – So what? The 5 people that reviewed it haven’t even played through the campaign yet, lol. I can find any sort of limited dataset to support literally any argument. It’s the entirety of the reviews that matter.
just with the big difference that metacritic doesnt care about review bombing (which some people here even admitted to) while steam does. (yes, they also delete good reviews if they turn out to be faked)
Furthermore, you can check the game time of the people who reviewd.
Sorry guy, i think blizzard used the right term for the likes of you.
Loud minority.
Review bombing is a concerted, organized effort by individuals who never tried the product they review. A bad review score doesn’t automatically equate review bombing, lol. When people try a product and give it a bad review because they didn’t like it, that’s just a bad score for a bad product. D4 is objectively bad, and that’s a fact. In fact, Blizzard successfully spurred metacritic into locking the user score after it plummeted at release.
Yep, and like I said, the mostly positive reviews over the past week are comprised of people who haven’t even beaten the campaign.
Hmm, except I belong to the 99.9% of the player base that quit the game. Further, the vast majority of threads on the forums are comprised of complaints. Hilariously, that’s in spite of the fact that the people who quit the game almost never come here. AoZ simply spurred them into leaving their feedback, after quickly realizing the game still sucks.
It looks like you’re the loud minority here, white knight.
it also refers to people creating multiple accounts to leave a review, be it good, or bad.
even tho your data is wrong, its also pretty valid to rate the campaign.
first and foremost you belong to the people who throw around % values they pulled out of their back to try to give their post some weight.
you do know, that the majority of the players dont even use the forums, right ;)?
This is also my advice but I had been seeing a lot of folks who said they can do NM 100 comfortably. I can’t validate the claim but they all have a hard time clearing T1. I have no issues with my non-Ball Sorcs clearing T1 as I can comfortably clear even the most atrocious NM 100 affixes. Am I that good? Are they not that good? Or something is off? I don’t know. I know I am at least average but l I can’t be that good.
Which ranking is that? Tier S in NM 100 or leveling or something else? This is one of those odd anecdotes that I keep seeing. Folks who can clear NM 100 quite easily but get stuck at T1.
Firewall, Conjuration, Fireball. I have those builds since I got 6 Sorcs in S2. They can clear T1 consistently after I was done with my initial test runs. I also have Ice Shard and Blizzard. No problems either. 0 Uber and solo btw.
T4 is a wall for my Firewall Sorc though which I kinda accept for playing a non-meta, no Uber build.
I actually see your point here. The idea should be is anyone who can do NM 100 comfortably should have no issues with T1. So definitely this is not true so far as I have seen like 50/50 result in the forums or maybe even bias towards folks who can’t do T1. It’s really puzzling unless the logical conclusion is T1 is really like NM120 and not even close to NM 100.
D3 was a dumpster fire. You played whatever build blizzard told you with power creep sets. GR were so mind-numbingly boring 1 clickers.
AoZ is far superior in almost everyway.
haha well maybe you are just that good =P!
jokes aside, i mean even if you do good in 100nmd, i felt the need to increase my defensives for AoZ. of course i cant know for sure either just like you, but id assume most people keep forgetting the importance of combining Damage reduction on top of a solid armor.
My assumption is folks who can comfortably clear NM 100 solo means they have good damage and armor.
Although when I did run my BL Sorc in various NM 100s, it can do even with 4.9K armor which in AoZ would be a bad idea. So it’s possible some folks were running such configuration that might still work in NM 100 but not in T1. But still, I have seen folks stating 14K armor with 15ak HP and still fail badly in T1. Their word and not mine.
Someone is lying or not doing the right things. Unless they share a vid, it’s all speculation on my part
