100 ice sorc. Blizzard/ice shard build.
Devs have stated what the implication of stagger status applies to the bosses.
Stagger places every form of crowd control to the boss for the duration. If that was the case the boss whule staggered should be under the effect of frozen and immobilized.
If that is the case ice shard enchantment should proc when the boss is staggered. It does not currently. Immobilized burning targets take 150% crit damage with the build i am using. Elites take 2.8 to 4 million per shard. Staggered bosses do not share this damage output due to immobilized not being properly applied to the stagger.
Unique items for sorc… out of all the classes who read this, if you havent played a sorc let me know how you would feel if every unique for your class dramatically nerf your class. Rainment chest unique changes teleport to drag close enemies and and stuns. It also increases your cd on teleport, has no defensive properties on the chest and forces you to have 1 point in glass cannon making you take more damage on a class that has survivability issues.
Unique fire ball gloves. Makes fire ball bounce exploding as it travels. It also reduces the damage of fire ball by 75%.
Lam esen staff. Makes your charged bolt pierce. Also reduces the damage of charged bolt by 35%.
Unique hoar frost pants. Helps with clear speed of trash mobs but has no benefit in boss fights where we struggle.
There are a handful of other uniques that sit in my stash that serve no purpose besides cause more depression when they drop.
Any other classes out there have the same experience for their class specific unique items? All my friends play barb, druid, rogue and they list off all the impactful bonuses the uniques have that dramatically alter the play style of the class. Sorc class just gets more spots taking up stash space.
Winter glyph serves no purpose since only 1 single pargon board has a cold damage node and it is on the polar opposite side of the board from the glyph slot.
