hey, i couldnt care less. i was merely stating that some more details would be good. didnt see so many threads about it here btw, and people here cry about everything
also never played barb starting with necro this season<3
You haven’t been around much, regardless of your post count. It’s a ubiquitous problem that everyone has who isn’t a literal grandma doing less than one action per second.
It’s an animation problem, probably the engine can’t keep on quicker animation or they keep this for make the game work on console, who known, but if you pay attention the game recognize the imput, you can see on the hotbar the skill become “greyed” for an istant, but the character not do anything if not complete the previous animation.
P.S. there are some accounts you can safely ignore.
This has been complained about since launch and about the only character I haven’t noticed it on is rogue and I only played that once. Surely you must have noticed it. It’s pretty common.
It’s very common, I notice it on my necro quite a bit, just depends on what I’m doing. Animation locks, as others have said are typically the issue, it’s dumb.
Glad to see I am not the only one experiencing this issue. I hope the server would somehow ‘queue’ the skills pressed but not executed due to animation lock and just fire the queued skill after animation of prev skill is over
It happens when holding Shift and clicking abilities, too. Shift is supposed to stop movement, but on some abilities it still stutter steps you forward, especially if you rotate abilities.
As a side note, I remember watching a stream by Raxx. He was pushing Pit with a sorc and he was in a boss fight. It was going well and then he died to a mech. He swore that he used a defensive skill (I think it was flame shield?? Not sure), which should have prevented him from dying. He even replayed the clip several times to confirm that the skill in the skillbar flashed to indicate it received the input but the skill just didn’t go off. I think he probably hit that skill right after another skill and experienced the same issue. I remember this one because it really triggered him.
He put in a bug request WITH the video clip. And this was a while ago. If Blizzard did not fix this issue when it was submitted by a streamer and with video proof, no less. What chance do we have? They will get to it when they can is the best we have…
