They nerfed hammstring lol

instead of nerfing hammer of the ancients, they nerfed HAMMSTRING and BLEED damage.

No Mercy officially deleted from the game, affecting all barbarian builds instead of HOTA.

Hamstring now only Slows Healthy enemies, and Slow amount increased from 10/20/30% to 20/40/60%.

Uh, well if it makes you happy - they did nerf/fix HOTA unintended damage (and no positive offset to that)

They nerfed Hota too.

  • Fixed an issue where the outer edge of the quakes granted to Hammer of the Ancients via The Aspect of Ancestral Echoes was dealing far more damage than intended.

Barbs have been bent over without lube by the forces of hell (blizzard)

No Mercy
You have 3% [+] increased Critical Strike chance against Immobilized, Stunned, or Slowed enemies.

New change
Hamstring now only Slows Healthy enemies, and Slow amount increased from 10/20/30% to 20/40/60%.

wtf is blizzard thinking?

I think the issue is everyone rolled barbs at the start of season 0 since we all were predicting good end game scaling due to arsenal. since the class had a high player count and a few people were doing crazy stufft at high lvls of play they decided well its too good (when it wasn’t great) and decided to nerf it.

Hell they hit bonespear necrp’s less than they did us. they definitely knocked some of the oomph out of them but it’s still very viable.

this is a big nerf vs healty enemy :joy: :joy: :joy: and most basic attack have any buff frenzy is still garbage this game go right in the :toilet: :poop:

That was an expected bug fix, not a nerf. Tbh, console players have been playing HotA without the bug for some time.

That sounds like No Mercy still exists to me. We don’t have 100% uptime for it anymore, though.

Which means it works just fine for HOTA but not for all other specs
the build least hurt by this change is HOTA
     most garbage take i ever saw in my life

Seems blizzard is doing the popular pick nerf method. There’s data shows everyone is picking Hamstring. It’s too good. Must be nerf so players pick something else.

Yeah, this is a big hit to whirlwind builds.

No Mercy is fine considering how many ways barbarians have to stun enemies (which is better than slow anyway).

What it gets rid of is a universal way to permanently trigger all “vs CC’d enemies” bonuses for all enemies that took minimal investment. That is not entirely unreasonable.

it depends on the perspective, what you imply is that I’m going to lose a slot of legendary or skill or both in order to be able to proc what I proc with slow automatically before

druids keep doing permanent poison / slow and their crit chance is 6% based on close target which is also permanent

Ww is officially dead
Hota is in icu

Just have to add more conditions it is getting annoying.
This is like the slowest arpg i have played

They dont want us to like the game?

100% They want us to uninstall…

Hamstring just made No Mercy mandatory. You need both for every build. The nerf was warrented. What blizzard should of done is get rid of the Slow from No Mercy. Leave Hamstring alone.
