Flail for crusader and diablo is still not in the game.

I see it as an off hand, we had dangling off hands in D3 as well. Or it could be a one handed mace, but based on the look and how bulky it is, that screams off hand to me.

No one is using a cauldron on the end of a chain as a flail.

Where is this flail found? This is more evidence that the paladin is going to be shadow dropped as a preorder for expansion. There is no way they would release paladin for free but as reward of buying our 79.99 preorder of expansion? I can totally see that happening.

We are getting some circumstantial evidence something really big is happening in game awards I can almost make a top 10 list on it.

1] Flail cosmetic mentioned in this post. I have no idea where its from. Flail is a notorious paladin weapon.

2] Season being called season of divine intervention and having purified and corrupted things. Definitely paladin-ish.

3] Devs are mentioning game awards all the time.

4] Something in campfire somewhere about fighting fire with fire. IE druid is POE fire and paladin is D4 fire.

5] Start date which they knew would piss many ppl off was moved to be after game awards. So they thought it would be worth it.

6] S11 is weak and in bad shape and needs an omega hype jolt.

7] Hadriel as an angel could be the leader of the paladins or the release of paladin is actually the release of a playable angel hero. This would also fit in with everything.

That def looks paladinish. Is that what you get from premium reliquary in s11?

If you watch it close enough you can see it’s a flail shaped crossbow, which is very common in sanctuary.

Actually it could be a mount trophy, look at the current mount trophies we have. That makes more sense to me. Could even be a back trophy, but I’m leaning more toward mount. The base of the item just looks too big to be swinging around as a flail, not that it couldn’t be used as one, but looking at the ones you linked from D3 which are far more conservative, you would essentially be swinging around a cauldron with that thing you posted.

I could see them adding a templar as a free class as a big surprise.

Its a bit desperate, but I think they are seriously worried if the game lasts long enough to introduce Diablo himself.

If this is the case, then I think it would give them a lot of credit from the community.

Also think they want a new class for the expansion. If the templar isn’t released now, then the expansion will have 2 classes I think. Hopefully a witch.

Templar would be too close to paladin. They are not going to release a free hero permanently to the game. This is not how they do their $ making models.

Maybe buying PREORDER OF expensive expansion will give temp access to paladin or something. Something big is coming. They keep saying it and it has to be big or we feel bad and hype goes to -50.

Right like imagine if they delayed it simply for an expansion pet or expansion horse pre-order…

They are delaying the season and very late in the day just seems like it has to be for a big reason

Actually S10 is a shorter season. This season lasted all of 79 days.

S1 - 90 days, S2 - 98 days, S4 - 84 days, S5 - 63 days, S6 - 105 days, S7 - 98 days, S8 - 63 days, S9 - 84 days, S10 - 79 days. So on average a season lasts 88 days (rounded up). S10 falls just short, being the 3rd shortest season.

If anything they extended S10, rather than delayed S11. However it makes sense when you take into account the Chinese release date.

Any more info on this flail weapon? It would be weird to showcase two obvious weapons next to a mount trophy wouldnt it???
