There should be a way to access better aspect than the one we have

I am para 250 and none of the aspects I am using are at perfect. I must have sold thousands of legendary items and I kept getting lesser ones. I know my RNG aura is very bad, but it would kind of a good idea to have better chances of getting better aspects when we level up…

Aspects (and glyphs for that matter) should be based off of their own XP scale.

A given aspect should always be based on the level of the aspect in the item holder’s codex (which starts at 0 and goes to one as soon as you unlock an aspect in a dungeon or salvage it; if you have gear with an aspect not above 0 in your codex, you can use that equipment and the aspect is level 1, but you can’t imprint it until it’s added to your codex.)

So if i have gear with an aspect and my level for it is 2/21 and I trade the item to someone who has it at 5/21, that’s what it displays when he gets it.

Salvaging an aspect adds XP to level it up. Ancestral items either give more XP or allow leveling above the non-ancestral threshold.

In short, aspect levels are intrinsic to your codex, not the gear itself, and you level them by salvaging them.

Unique powers should work the same way, but take much more XP to improve.

I like this idea. I’ll just throw in mine again too.

I think any Ancestral Aspect should start just above the cap for the 750 aspects. My best example is that of an aspect that has a range of 40-100%. 750 will cap out at 80%, the Ancestral equivalent of that aspect should start at 81%.

Regardless of what route they go, something needs to change.

Those are great ideas. Hope some devs will read them…
