There is no buff

There is no buff, I haven’t finished pit 75 yet with rogue?

Which buff are you talking about? The Mother’s Blessing buff is activated.

If you mean the Gileon’s Brew Buff…

The return of the Red-Cloaked Horror brings good tidings as well, for slaying the hulking beast is guaranteed to earn you the coveted—and improved—Gileon’s Brew. For 30 minutes, this fabled Elixir increases your damage dealt to enemies by 20%, causes enemies to routinely drop additional Herbs and Crafting Materials, and grants 15% increased Experience. Gileon’s Brew also has a chance to drop from Tortured Gifts in Helltide throughout the limited-time event.

So it’s an elixir you have to find basically.

A buff to something that is irrelevant is like the following:
0 multiplied by 0

They’re talking about being unable to do pit 75 with rogue, so I would deduce they’re taking about damage buffs in the patch.

That’s what I was thinking too.
For an example:

Victimize does less damage than the hit that procs it. Now it does a tinny bit more dmg.

Even using Gileon’s Brew I saw no difference at pit level 85 on my DoK Rogue. Big let down.

Like what did you expect?
The buffs are irrelevant.
I reiterate:
0 multiplied by 0 is still 0.

Yea I respec’d for the new Blood Rage buff and lost so much to gain it it’s basically a 1/1 trade off. So no buff.

The damage buffs in the patch are a joke. They buffed underutilized skills, which is not an overall power buff. None of the characters are any closer to spiritborn’s power level than they were before (even though Blizzard stated that their goal was to bring them closer to the Spiritborn power level). It’s strange and contradictory.

The real D4 code team isn’t actually even in the same country as Blizzard headquarters.
The fall guys you see have nothing to do with actually creating the game.

Yeah essentially this was a 2% overall buff as most don’t even use builders late game right?

We demand buffs that would make Rod Furgusson blush!

What sort of Rogue?

I started off with a DoK, left it till they fixed the channel breaking fiasco and ran a Victimise Barrage rogue. When I went back to DoK, a little more min/maxed at Paragon 281 I can do Pit 85. Tried the Barrage Rogue again after today’s patch but haven’t tried pushing the pit but I’m expecting at least Pit 80.

Having said that, I can;t say I’ve noticed a major difference and the Maxroll experts say maybe 1 or 2 extra Pit levels. Which is disappointing but them’s the breaks. They are still fun to play and blasting through all the other stuff. I’ll get a Spiritborn buddy to help me level up glyphs.

I saw zero difference in power using the Gideon’s

This mid-season buff is comical. If they think that all of the other classes besides SB are even remotely in-line with the SB damage even after this goofy patch, then they are smoking crack.

They’re not intended to be for this patch. Spiritborn is way, way, way too far ahead for that.

We’re being sold a S7 patch as a midseason patch. They’re throwing these buffs out there now, because as their poor excuse for an event shows, they didn’t really have anything for a midseason patch.

I forgot to swap Heir of Perdition with Cowl of the Nameless, but anyways, timed out at Pit 88 before the patch with very good Masterworking crits, tried 90 today and couldn’t do it. I’ve come to terms with DoK being a speed farming build. But like you said: big let down.

My Mighty Throw Barb with subpar Masterworking jumped from Pit 91 to 94 instantly.

Yeah I wasn’t hoping for insane SB level just to get my glyphs to 100 without needing a carry. Ohh well.

Yep. Its like getting that yearly $.25 cent cost of living raise, which is like 15 cents after taxes. Then finding out it was in pesos.
