There is a Serious Level Gap in the Gear!

Just about to hit level 60 on my seasonal sorc. I haven’t seen an upgrade in about 8 levels. There is no real point in pushing to T4 as the gear that will drop won’t be usable till about level 65. The next 5 levels will be incredibly dull. Can you imagine if they had left the T4 requirement at 70? Did anyone actually play this game?

That’s… kind of the point.

At this point in the game upgrades are less plentiful because you’re supposed to be using legendaries via aspect crafting. You will find a good upgrade occasionally, but because you’ve either stocked up on materials from all the non-upgrades you farmed or gold by selling them, you can create and use legendaries for a longer period before you feel obligated to swap them out.

Yeah, I’m 56 now and my highest (including upgrade) is iLevel 644 (Most other items are 610+) and I just sell/salvage everything (Depending on what I need) and look for yellow gear that has higher ilevels. Thankfully the inventory sort button seems to also sort types by item level so it’s kinda easy to search for it.

Also checking merchants occasionally. It’s slow, but a steady increase and as others have pointed out I also think a lot might come from paragon points ^^ We’ll all eventually reach iLevel 800 gear :smiley:

Edit: How do y’all feel about % attribute increase modifiers on gear? I kinda feel they’re weaker than just going straight for flat intelligence, strength or dexterity (My char doesn’t need willpower^^).

At a very minimum. Level 60 does not drop at any kind of rate in T4. Oh and to the poster above: all my gear is equipped with aspects. The mobs present no challenge in T3 but if I go to T4 this early I’ll get shredded. FYI this is not my first character.

I got to wt4 at 63, by 64 I had an ilvl 813 weapon. The bigger issue is going from lvl 58 mobs in wt3 to 75 mobs after the capstone, lmao what?

I’m lvl 59 in wt4 right now. Every ancestral has a min lvl of 60, not 65.

Problem solved?

OK well that has changed then. Thx for the info. I will move up as this is boring as hell

Edit:

OK got there but can’t beat Elias yet. This seriously sucks $$$. I have to grind more levels with zero gear upgrades. Like I said in the OP did anyone actually play thru this? cause man it’s dull to the point of onerous…
