Theory on rare drops = the struggle to get your build drops

So, i struggled up until 62-64 to get some pulverize druid drops. Specifically the aspect for Shockwave and the Legendary Helm.

I was struggling in dungeons for 73+. But I did finally get Shockwave - and just recently the pulverize legendary helm.

My theory is that these maybe higher level drop rates from 70+ monsters.

Maybe someone can link me to this where someone figured it out in more detail. But i couldn’t find it.

What i mean is: if you are in world level III - you have some options.

  1. Get to world IV and start killing things
  2. Get some higher level (i think 20+) NM dungeon sigils and kill things there. This might actually be a little easier.

I believe world tier 4 ups the chance of legendary drops and increases the unique item pool. Nightmare dungeons also reward you with a legendary once completed.

I got to T4 and I’ve gotten worse drops than im T3. Not sure if its a glitch or whats going on

Yeah… but you should get ancestral, which should be over ilvl 700 almost always(assuming your ~60 lvl.

A huge problem for me is that once ancestral started dropping it felt REALLY bad going back to wt3 when I couldn’t even drop ancestral. So I was forced to struggle in wt4.

Now though… I’m lvl69 and have great druid gear and build so I’m sailing.
