The Umbracrux doesn't spawn shade totem

When i first equip the item, it worked as intended. Once i got the item masterwork 4 (master worked into Dex, if that matters) the item no longer spawns a shade totem when i throw Smoke Grenade.

Affix’s on gloves, pants, boots and amulet respectively.
Edgemater’s Aspect
Umbrous Aspect
Hectic Aspect
Repeating Aspect
