Finally got this sword to drop from Infernal Horde. Doesn’t have the best affixes but that’s not the reason for the sword.
Deathblow becomes a spammable skill. Turns out, Hammer of the Ancient or Upheaval is better. in terms of damage and utility. Overkill just makes Deathblow a pseudo Upheaval.
The unique Unbroken Chain + The Third Blade is promising. Being able to use Irom Maelstrom every 5 seconds is fun. Still has crappy damage though. Gonna see if I can add in some type of multiplier. Starless sky seems like a good pick. Plus that new Crown.

Could it be that more +skill ranks to Deathblow is needed? Also did you have all the aspects for Deathblow imprinted? It would be a shame if it did not make the skill viable.
On Unbroken Chain - i think the main benefit here is to have IM being able to proc Walking Arsenal by itself (and maintaining uptime) without the need of another extra 2 attacks. This would move Walking Arsenal above Unconstrained which has lost some of its benefits from extra berserk duration due to the new Anger Management Aspect.
There’s a way to play with it. Red Furor comes to mind. As well as Banishing Lord’s Tailman. Encroaching Wrath also works since The Third Blade makes Deathblow a Core skill. There’s something there, I just don’t have the time to mess with it right now. Gonna have to wait for Season 5 where I can fight RNG for a month or two.
test it during PTR, the damage is between 100mil to 500 mil (to boss), with crown ,starless, red fury and banish lord. if you dont care for overpower you can also use the new amulet (multiplier for crit damage) , then your damage is between 100 mil to 300 mil .
I also tried overkill. turns out with overkill you lose damage (losing 300+strength, tons of crit damage and an aspect)
In conclusion , the damage is not that good , with overkill you damage drops, without it deathblow aoe it too small. better build a bash hitting for 1.2 billion instead

Which chest did it drop from? the Equipment chest (on the left)? or the 250 Aether chest?
The cheap one. Took 20 runs with 4 Crown of Lucion before I got the sword. I was doing level 3 getting 60 AE per run. So about two opening per run.
