Seriously. Who uses this terminology anymore? It was big among protodorks/ponytails in the 90s, and it’s a reference to the national anthem of a nation that stopped existing in 1945. Kind of a bad take if you ask me.

Well if you consider that it’s a spin on über, which means “above” in German", it’s not that outlandish.

In gaming, people say “X is OP” as a means to say X is too strong. To be technically correct, they were overpowered but are saying the opponent was.
