Everytime you level the damage reduction of your armor is reduced (Ex: 2000 armor gave me 40% damage reduction at lvl 45, but at lvl 50 2000 armor gave me 27% damage reduction)
which is a problem i was lvl 50 before finishing act 2. i was lvl 56 before entering the capstone dungeon to go to world tier 3. for some reason the white mobs and elite mobs are scaled but the dungeon bosses are not scaled the same. i can kill a dungeon boss in 3 seconds and literally stand still and take zero damage. but a white mob hits me for half my health and elite mobs almost one shot me.
The gear that drops in world tier 2 isnt good enough to get through world tier 2 if you decide to stay there longer and do side quests/explore etc. basically if you lvl to much your stuck because u wont be able to do the capstone dungeon.
this also means optimizing ur gears stats is pointless until your lvl 100… equip the highest ilvl gear you find.

Yea level 50 here and still getting lvl 35 gear from the tree on world tier 2. Having a hard time getting actual gear suitable for my level and I’m just getting slapped by mobs. Slowly losing my desire to keep playing as it’s not getting more fun.
Yea, same the Druid is pretty bad too hard to even kill anything.
Not only this, i feel like this game has small ammount Legends/uniques that you can build arround. Just like barb, has only 2 Build path … WW or Hammer build, isnt it a bit well dull when it comes to rpg?

The capstone dungeon is a fixed level, but the mobs hit hard. Check your defensive stats, especially resistances.
scaling is pretty broken in d4 not gonna lie.
but maybe this is how the devs want it.
for sure casuals wont stick around once they find out how it plays.
I think world tier 2 is just trap, it does not drop any better gear at all. Mobs scale way more then world tier 1, it only gives 20% more exp on kills, not quests. You would get more experience probably doing world tier 1 because you can kill stuff so much faster. The world tier does not affect loot until 3. So just level campaign on world tier 1, then ramp it as you get better gear. World tier 2 is just for people looking for punishment lol.
