That came out to the public and said they know how much the community hates nerfs and would instead buff other things to even the playing field is now NERFING again.
We don’t want mobility nerfs. Stick to your guns on what you originally said. Bring other classes up to speed with speed farming options for other builds/classes.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with farming for gear to obtain fast teleport for the sorc. Speed farming is one of the main reasons people continue to play arpgs. You build your fast farming setup to farm things to build other sets for the end game and slower pushing aspects of the game.
No one I have ever met or talked with has said “man I love farming at a slow pace.”
One of the main aspects of D3 that kept me constantly playing was the ability to have very high mobility builds for farming and slower but more powerful builds for pushing.
This is my post to please ask for other classes (Barb, Necro, etc) to get buffs for better mobility and speed farming options instead of nerfing others.
sounds to me the game still fits your wants and needs, you’ll have more mobile setups for ABC, and slower pushing builds for XYZ…
Just find the classes who have the best mobility, and make a build on them for that. and then pick other classes for your boss kill single target boss farms, or your high pit 4-man slower stuffs.
I don’t understand this post, the game still has fast / slow options and paths you can take, and probably paths that are optimal…
I kinda like how diablo4 offers slow pace combat, the pits are great.
Im just thinking how you got a nice looking game… why ruin it by zooming and starring at a minimap the whole time like a rat running a maze, not even looking at the game. makes me think of PoE. no hard content, just zoom as fast as you can, stare at minimap, all the while your pc is screaming at you for trying to process graphics you aren’t even looking at, which some builds in that game turn your pc into a 45-60fps slide show, haha that game is cooked.
I like diablo’s pit slower gameplay man, nice clean graphics, not starring at minimap the whole time, or having my pc turn into a slideshow, this game runs smoooooooth
but yea, figure out the fastest build you can make, figure out a boss killer, and a pit 4-man 150 pusher…. hell go make a pvp build while your at it too why not
Quite frankly the entire redesign here is all nerfs. Tempering nerfs, masterworking nerfs, less control and impact to your build, defensive nerfs, season 11 is literally a bunch of nerfs.
I wonder if they’re going to make the Pit easier in season 11 to address the major decrease in powerlevel under the new Masterwork system.
If everyone is a lot weaker, then the pit level they’ll be able to clear will be much lower… meaning it’s grind to 300 paragon, which was already insane, will take even longer.
This is what happens when you let power spiral out of control for 2 years. Eventually you reach a point of no return and we were obviously there on S10. IT was a total cakewalk with no difficulty at all. They had to do something but in typical Bliz fashion they have overreacted and nuked everything to the stone age. The players will have to adapt to the new reality of a much slower game, with less density, and less easy damage, and godmode at the start of the season.
Unfortunately when things get stupid nerfs must happen. They shouldn’t have let them get stupid in the first place. But the bumbling oafs they are they stumble and bumble all over the place and drop everything and make a mess all over the floor and now they are on the floor scrubbing it with a mop.
Na, more accurately this is what happens when you continue to employ a dev team that downright refuses to create a balanced base game, and then build their other gimmicks over top of that. If the base game had balance, the power shifting and power creep wouldn’t be flying all over the place, because the heavy meta shifts would be based on temporary/borrowed power, not the other way around.
Then they should no longer be employed. If I went to work every day and proved repeatedly I didn’t know how to do my job, they would let me go. Why is this different?
The thing is tho - the big wigs upstairs dont care - this game sells because of its name only. Hopefully people are starting to catch on that this isnt the Blizzard they once knew
I’m not sure that’s true. Chaos armor is definitely extremely powerful, making S10 a very powerful SEASON, but that’s not a reflection of the base, permanent, mechanics in general.
Plus, as ever, the dev team shows zero interest in working on build balance. Even if the meta builds ARE overperforming, the devs’ response was a global nerf (except for Teleport), instead of targeting the overperformers. So the disparity among builds will still remain.
Edit: Also, without addressing build balance first, any further power-creep with continue to disproportionately benefit the top builds, leading yet again to “Er m’gerd! Game too fast!” global nerfs while lesser builds continue to languish.
Bro I had my class for mobility. It was Sorc lol. This part of your comment makes no sense, and tbh your whole response makes no sense. It was as if you didn’t read my post at all.
Don’t take Urza too seriously. He keeps saying words like power creep, everything too easy etc…But the fact is last time I saw him in the game (Hardcore server) he managed to die in this easy season despite using the mana shield and was getting his 0-60 power leveling
Yup, it is all easy and way too powerful on forums!
I don’t take anything this dev teams says at face value anymore since they said in one campfire chat before one season that they want to make it a priority to have Rogue clones work properly and it still didn’t work properly and they didn’t fix it in the season.
yet other builds that move around almost as quick don’t get nerfed - here is the thing - when you have to spend 5 mins face tanking an elite because it’s got a huge health pool and you have no dps it really doesn’t matter how quick to you got to him. Sorc nerfs destroy the class fantasy that blizz claimed was important.
