The rogue is a dancer

I was reading a bunch of negative posts on here, and it started to affect my gameplay. I started to notice that my rogue had to teleport to town to replenish health potions, and I noticed I was dying a lot. I tried several builds to fix the problem. I don’t like the bow and arrow, it felt too much like a sorcerer, plus, I played the demon Hunter to death in Diablo 3. I wanted to be a daggers rogue.

I was the problem. I was playing the rogue like my barbarian, wading into battle and hoping I could kill everyone. Then I discovered Dash. What a game changer!

Now I weave in and out of mobs, I kite them, I go in, apply some pain, and get out. It’s a lot more fun and a lot more survivable. To be honest, I’m not sure I love the gameplay, but for now I’m going to stick with it. It seems to work. The rogue is a dancer.

Well Arya Stark did get your start with ‘dance’ classes.

Totally agree though. Once you get past the ‘low’ level enemies of NM 0-40 where you can basically kill on second tap of the shoulder, eventually need to actually get the increased damage of skillful play like return TB like the initial cast, setting up arrow skills, etc.

Have to dance!

DDDR: Diablo Dance Dance Revolution

Dashing in feels wrong to me. Gotta shadow step the elite to get in and stun them and use dash to get out if necessary.

I support this as a new build name!
