So your into insulting people because you bought a live service game without understanding they withhold part of a game for future seasons, patches and expansions. Its not just content missing. Its clear it wasn’t tested at all, is full of bugs and broken items / skills. QoL festures such as chatting systems, inventory management and basic clan features missing, virtually 0 balance, a massive gap between entering wt4 at 65ish and lvl 100 where its clesr snother difficulty was meant to be.
Immortal was FREE and it has way more content and had way more at its release, plus its a mobile phone game. Yes they worked real hard on that cash cow. Charged us preium AAA for d4 to be glorified beta testers.
Game was rushed. Stop being a blizzard apologist.

I dont agree with the OP however d4 do suck, they earned it, deserved it. Missing many many BASIC feature of an online game. Possibly the loniest game ever produce by a multibillion dollar company.
Being live service dont mean they give you an unfinished game. How do you even find this acceptable? This game so empty i be in shock they even play the game

What they really made was a monetization scheme called battle pass and needed a game to use it with, so they told the devs to throw together some basic skeleton of a game, then they would call it Diablo so they could sell it and the title would make millions. They knew they wouldn’t keep most players once people saw what the game really is, but if Diablo Immortal and Candy Crush has taught them anything, it’s that dumb people will throw endless amounts of money at anything, no matter how bad and how pointless it is.

All games have bugs, im sorry you feel the game wasnt tested when this was the largest public tested game. If you feel the game was rushed perhaps you have the development road map with the man hours/money spent in development of this pretty solid core structure.
Sounds like you prefer a P2W model. Maybe immortal is more what your looking for. Good news you can play immortal.

Maybe you should make us a proper arpg yourself. Instead of posting as some captive audience with no choice. You can make an amazing game and I would love to play and critique it.

The merger had absolutely nothing to do with it. D4 got made because of the ‘don’t you guys have phones’ BlizzCon debacle. I don’t believe for one minute that they planned to ever make a Diablo IV until that happened.
