Everyone who has died to their servers deserves a refund for investing so much time into playing on launch and dying to some bs that makes NO SENSE WHATSOEVER! such as SERVER LAGS!
i want a refund for diablo4 i have died in hc 4 times to dc or bs and it the race to 1000 took so much of my time and each time i died to bs
i find it extremely unfair that i spend 5 days getting my barb to 88 that could not die and then logging into a BAD SERVER and losing my char due to a lag ON YOUR SIDE with no way of RECOVERING my char i took off work and made a community for this and i lost 3 chars over 70 to bs and i want my money back
I’ve dc’ed a couple times, didn’t return dead.
1st time was patching on server, and 2nd was power outage I finishing clearing some mobs in helltide and power went out.
So assume mobs respawn in like 5 mins or so.
It took me out of game within those 5 mins.
I think if a mob is hitting you, it won’t check you out of game until they stop or you die.
Just like you can’t town portal if some mob is hitting you.
Other than those DC’s never had an actual dc.
I have the lowest quality plan from cox too. 300mbps plan. 100+ hours played.
According to this thread, there is still time for people to make it, a lot of people have it done it.
They need to move on, to like seasons, battle pass etc, can’t just live in this competition forever.
This whole race to 100 doesn’t make any sense to me personally. I understand that everyone is different and that’s fine. I understand becoming emotionally invested in a character on which much time was invested of course.
From a philosophical standpoint, if you are upset about buying into a race with no material rewards that you end up losing, who is to blame? The lag and crash issues should not be a surprise to anyone that has played a few early blizzard games or done a little research. Good news is they have always made it better over time.
Nothing about the race is fair in an absolute sense anyway. The heart of the game is completely RNG based, and the crashes are just another element of semi-randomness at the moment. You can spend time blaming outside forces (blizzard, comcast, whatever) that are outside your control, or you can just grieve for the loss of your personal investment, take a deep breath, and move on.
