The PTR is a train wreck that crashed into a dumpster fire

So I was having fun playing a New spiritborn on the PTR and then realized that you could copy over your account characters. So I did that and first it erased the new character I just built and got to level 26 and then it got even more fun. The eternal character has none of the new powers and not even the tab for them is there. I tried to gain the new abilities but if I went to an event there was nothing there and it just never happened. So then I read what they said about the boost a character and did that. Still did not fix the problems. So I thought WTH is going on because I never saw another player. I figured it was because I was in T4. So I went down to normal and wouldn’t ya know it not a single other player there either. The entire game and I was the only person playing apparently. Now I’m so frustrated because they deleted my level 26 character and I think I’m done with the PTR.

Why would eternal have seasonal powers?

Why is there even an eternal PTR area?

Sorry that you didnt know what a ptr is for and mistook it as some kind of early access gaming.

The patch effects both eternal and seasonal. Given this is predominantly a progression patch, some of the most important testing is via the Eternal realm.

Because they give you the ability to copy over your account characters in the PTR

doesnt answer what made you expect that youd be able to use seasonal stuff on eternal tho.

I was very surprised to see all my eternal characters there but NOT the seasonal. It was weird.

You copied your season 7 characters into the season 8 PTR, so of course your seasonal powers aren’t copied over. It copied them as Eternal, just as if season 7 had ended.

Its broken. A malfunction. I was like. How can I be the only one in the game. I had an eternal character playing on the Season 8 PTR with not a single other player on the entire map that was broken and did not work right.

Look up just one post above this one:
