wow is a freaking MMO its gearing system gameplay etc is all differently structured, POE while yeah has a season system its character progression is FAR more in depth, way more talents, skills, etc etc so much more to sink your teeth into vs D4 which has garbage character progression and relies way to much on grinding for very specific gear every single season because 1-100 is a joke in D4.
PvP is far from dead in wow, its more active than ever. PvP is booming in classic and SoM. Retail is dead in general and still has a solid pvp playerbase. PvP is the best aspect of WoW. Most of the people that have been playing for 20 years play because of the PvP.
Speak for yourself. Most donât rush and get everything done as quickly as possible.
Really what people were complaining about is 70-100 was a boring grind just to grind. People had most of their gear around 70-80 and the rest of the way was just a meaningless slog fest. There are way better ways to fix that problem than just making it faster.
Agreed but the devs âLiStEnEd To ThE cOmMuNiTyâ
I think what they listened to was their metrics that most people quit by level 50, honestly. They probably interpreted what the fix was from partially the community though.
Its funny, at launch I thought WT2 and 3 felt pretty on point. WT4 I felt was a slogfest because what I stated. This season I felt WT4 felt great but WT2 and 3 felt like a quick waste of time. Especially WT3.
People whined about the rune system in diablo 2, but that system presented multiple solutions to various problems diablo 4 is facing.
- Itâs just not exciting to have legendary items drop constantly. The dopamine hit isnât there because it happens too often, and the overall impact of any one item is too low.
- We have nothing to build toward incrementally, just rng drops. The rune system allowed incremental progression
- We need projects. Like overarching projects for our character, that take longer than just 1-2 days. Stuff you build toward, like how assembling a runeword worked. It needs to be meaningful. NOT the primal ancient system from d3.
Itâs D3 now so put in your 30-40 hrs and be done with it for the season.
For the first time ever, I donât want the season to end. I wish Diablo 4 had been released with this season format, and then started Season 1 six months later. But itâs too late for that now, so Iâll just keep enjoying Season 5 and the expansion.
They wont let D4 to compete against WoW. D4 would stick to old Diablo stuffs. And WoW would remain their main MMO. It wont overlap to compete against each other to kill each other.
Its the fault of Bliz because there is abysmal PvP balance. How exactly can u kill an immortal sorc?? How do you fight a barb with 200k+ life. You dont. You just dont go there.
The devs have to ensure a fair pvp game and an armory to switch builds or its never going to go anywhere.
and those issues were in Diablo 2 as well but somehow getting one shotted in D2 PvP is the greatest thing out but put those same things in D4 and itâs now the worst thing out
Well then isnât it time you left and played something else then seeing as this game is going nowhere and then there is the issue of the game having to be changed on your say so
What is wrong with you? You are against a fair pvp game and armory? You think I actually care about pvp?
The only way D4 can get âlongevityâ is by adding a proper end (or more specifically a bunch of proper ends)
No game that tries to delay failure and kick it like a can on the road and push it down further and further survives the test of time
People want a concrete product and theyâll find a way to âextendâ itâs original purpose further (not directly served by the devs)
The latter just makes it worse as is giving the feel to the players that they control nothing and are supposed to just âenjoy the rideâ, but that never works
So if the devs are wise theyâll embrace (and properly sprinkle in) failure and just end it there
Except Just like WoW Diablo IV and other Buzzard products is concentrating on Cosmetics instead of gameplay
which is why so many people are looking for & at alternate gamesâŚAre you really so blind to this Brogar, Keyblade, Shivera? In fact it was said not so recently cosmetics not fun was what Buzzard was going to be working from now on as cosmetics were more profitable
The problem with d4 is the very first set of cliche quests sets the tone for a repetitive, uninspired chore.
Nobody will stay long in this game, AINT NO streamer dedicating much time to this game. Where is the challenge? I been playing a game, I saw Raxx Play, First Descendant, I am not promoting it. But this game has somethings Diablo can learn from. Grind is real, you not getting great items without some luck and work. Also, I was stuck on a boss for days, nearly quit.
Diablo 4 is so vanilla, has no real challenge. Now will they put something out there, so the folks can really push their characters⌠right now, I have no faith.
The Diablo community is so hypocritical.
I want harder content.
It is too hard, make it easier!
Canât please everyone. Game grossed $1B. I donât think they will try to.
Have you considered that every community consists of individuals?
Well you are screaming how unfair the PvP is in D4 but everything is fine in D2 pvp and there is nothing fair about the PvP in D2 and yet they donât want that changed, but give them the same PvP experience in D4 and all of a sudden the game has to be changed into something else I didnât buy because people cry because they bought the wrong game and instead of accepting they made a mistake they come on the forums demanding the game be changed into something else entirely
