The Pit can be undertaken with groups up to four, with the player who opened The Pit receiving the lion’s share of materials.
Only the player who opened The Pit has the chance of receiving the Materials used for summoning Tormented Echoes.
If you ask me, they can give rewards/materials to everyone who participates in the Pit.
This is roughly how Monolith system works in Last Epoch. And I’m honest, that’s a stupid system!
In this way you will make solo pushing more attractive than as a group.
That’s why I think it’s better to give everyone the same rewards at the end of the pit.
Not sure if I am right… But you have to get ticket for pit… So no only one who provides ticket should get rewards or we will have another duriel loop, where you are foced to go with group. Its idiotic, never push party play in arpg.

if there is though : no
or make it so everyone has to pay the entrance fee : duriel should do so too.
the game is already too rewarding in duriel with group in my opinion or in general with loots , exp etc…
everyone should pay any kind of entrance fee to get rewards.
it’s not really an mmo, better exp and faster clear and grouping fun should be enough incentive for group play.

to put thing into context it’s , if i’am not wrong, a scalable content, meaning you’ll have an easier time to aim higher with a group so it’s a big incentive already.
To prevent players sell the PIT carry as services. D4 developers browse diablo trade websites also. Selling carrying services is the most lucrative system in D4. I know it as I was multi-billionaire last seasons
well yea u clear stuff faster but getting 3 other people also takes some time
i just think grouping shouldnt be punished it should be as viable as doing it solo
and this is not it it basicly means no one will ever do this in a group cause u dont get any of the stuff u want
how is that punishement though ? you still get faster clear , better exp etc. and an easier time.

i mean, yea if you don’t have actual friend you take some time to gather the group but you can do it multiple time too.
as you said solo and group should be viable hence both equal.
Like in D3 when you did greater rifts as group and beat it in time everybody got loot etc. and could upgrade your keystones.
Now in D4 it seems when you complete the pit in time and the boss, there is a CHANCE that the ONE who opened the pit gets the mastercrafting materials. What you need to craft high end gear.
I think everybody chould get a small chance of it, cus all in the group put as much as the one who opened the pit effort in it.
And about the punishment it’s fine, cus I guess the mobs wil scale with the group. So it will not be ez mode at all.
Dont work in that case. The pit doesnt seem to be a boss run but actual dungeon, so you can spam them in the same group.

As long as everyone pay the same fee whether solo or in group it’s fine.
And of course no fee if there is none.
The problem would be if like duriel doing it in a group of 4 means 4 times the reward for the same amount of fee paid separately
That’s just forcing People to group to be efficient (4 times actually) which in my opinion is bad
true that is bad
but the reason many dont want to see it changed is that farming duriel mats is the worst content in the game and nearly no one likes doing it so the people rather accept an imbalance for solo players rather than nerf group players 4x
also playing in a group will always be somewhat more efficent than playing alone since u can min max way better but the diffrence shouldnt be as big as it currently is with duriel but rather than nerfing duriel i just think they maybe should give solo players 4x the rewards (or 2 players 2x the reward)
I don’t know why people are trigger by this. One single person getting two or three extra items isn’t going to make a big difference. Not only that, items can be traded among party members.
There is a simple solution… If you don’t like the system of “Lion’s share”/ Patry leader ticketing, then don’t group with people. Do it solo. Or… go on the ptr or find a streamer who may agree with you to express the disparity (note I didn’t call it a problem but rather a personal issue with supposed balancing). Personally, I agree with Boltane. Almost everything is tradable so not really an issue; furthermore, I am sick of rotas how they work now.

Are these tradeable?
Will the ‘Carries’(“only the Player who opened the Pit…”) they tried to avoid with The Pit just be displaced to this Material and the Group Meta/RMT sales/etc will just be another Duriel Loop?

Tormented Echoes of all ladder bosses can be summoned with Stygian Stones, obtained from deep within The Pit.
Stygian Stones are needed along with an increased amount of summoning materials, but fear not – they also drop more rewards!
Tormented Echoes will be level 200.
All items dropped are item level 925.
Defeating your first Tormented Echo drops one Resplendent Spark as a first-time reward (account bound).
Looks like it’s merely a more convoluted Duriel loop to me.
Groups will be most efficient once again.
Nothing about Stygian Stones being Account Bound.
Nothing about rewards with Tormented Echoes being similar to Pit structure(the one who summons).
They’re just gatekeeping the materials for Masterworking and Tormented Echoes - it’ll still, at first glance, play out the same - just more hoops to jump through.
