Armor caps at 9200ish. Absolutely no reason to go for 24k armor.
i feel like one shadow boss or maybe two are tolerable but not if I get uber lilith as a shadow boss every single time lmao
BS the shadows r 1 shot no matter what ur stats are.
Wrong. I do tier 90âs and still donât get one shot, as I have a bunch of damage reduction and âenemy reduced damageâ stats, and play the boss fights around those skills. I can often even just sit there face tanking. There are only a couple of attacks I will actively avoid.
You guys are just bad at the game and arenât willing to learn the shadow boss mechanics and their specific attacks. And arenât willing to look at your skills or gear and see how you could gain more damage reduction and defense. You then come to the forums crying about one-shots.
Itâs the Server Slam Beta Ashava world boss crybabies all over again, who couldnât get the mount trophy because they were bad at the game and didnât want to learn how to dodge Ashavaâs attacks, so they failed the fight, and then immediately came to the forums crying.
Iâll agree pit bosses could do with some tweaking, but theyâre nowhere near as bad as you people make them out to be.
yea with over 50000 life I get one hit most the time at lvl31
Theyâre incredibly lazy design.
For some reason, this âBlizzardâ thinks tons of one-shot mechanics = challenging.
Itâs not challenging. Itâs frustrating and unfair. People very much dislike frustrating and unfair.
Itâs an ARPG, not a Souls-like. Chill out with the one-shot crap. If youâre going to make us deal with one-shot BS like this, then give us an evade that has iframes in it. Itâs just FAIR.
Actually I might make a post myself about that.
I Quit. I am done with this game. Once and for all. Blizz making 2 steps in the right direction, but going back 4 steps.
constantly dying from one shot mechanics on an 61 Pit Boss because he shoots 20 Fireballs and 4 other stuffs which kills me instantly and i have to run for 30s circles around him, because he has a tantrum and spawning all those skills who one shots. No.Fun.at.all
and yeh, i dont want to play some broken boss 1-Shot build.
I really need more CDR, Blood mist still have too high cooldown and does not have 100% uptime on boss fights.
I really need it because once a boss reaches below 30% Hp then we have like 3-4 âShadow bossesâ doing abilities at the same time ontop of the actual end boss
You do know that some classes have more of dmg reductions than others? You do also know that some builds are created around rebuffing the boss to lower dmg? You do realize this does not work on shadow boss for those builds? There are tons of highly intelligent posts here on these forums about the Pit bosses. Acting like everything is fine because few builds manage is ridiculous and childish at best.
and the worst part is if you knocked down the boss, the shadow can still attack you.
thatâs just bs
But this also explains alot of the one shots to cap armor at 9200. Basically remove core RPG mechs out of the game for core content.
Everything in this game is a god-damn cooldown.
Oh yeah for sure.
Itâs annoying
I have no idea how an armor cap would explain one shots ⌠care to elaborate?
People need to tailor their builds for the content. They clearly arenât because theyâre complaining about one shots at âlowâ tiers. The game isnât the problem. Itâs bad players not adapting their builds for endgame content and not dodging attacks and then being so entitled they come to the forums complaining thatâs the gameâs fault and not theirs. I never said everything is 100% fine. I said bosses could do with some tweaking but that people coming on here crying as if theyâre unbelievably busted are entitled crybabies.
Did anyone notice that since yesterday, they added a bunch of knockback and stuns and spiders spam their silk [stuns] like the constructs did w/ lightning fire? I donât recall that being such a thing prior.
Antivenom elixir helps. You can run it with another potion.
I completely agree that the one-shot shadow bosses are a major issue. Itâs incredibly disheartening to invest time and effort into a run, only to be instantly taken out by an unforeseen attack. This mechanic doesnât just challenge players; it punishes them excessively, detracting from the overall enjoyment of the game. The unpredictability and lack of counterplay to these one-shot attacks make them feel unfair rather than difficult. Itâs crucial for the gameâs longevity and player satisfaction that the developers address this and implement a more balanced approach to boss mechanics.
The bosses are SO OVERTUNEDâŚyou can clear the first two dungeons and get to the boss and the boss is a giant farking brick wall that is not representative of the difficulty/challenge that it took to get there (the prior mobs).
Edit: Didnât even mention the one-shot mechanics.
Thatâs not true at allâŚyou can go from FULL HP/Barrier/DR/Resists (and whatever else you have from a full paragon board and skills) to dead INSTANTLY without a single telegraph on some of theses bosses. That is NOT a player issue, sorry.
