The Pit, color blindness and accessibility

As a (more severe) red-green color blind player I would like to give a quick feedback especially regarding endgame mechanics like The Pit. And to sum it up: It’s horrible and from a certain level unplayable for me.

I know color blindless is different for anyone but no matter what colorblind mode and setting I use, many times it is (almost) impossible to see the red boss-attacks. Since many of those one shot me around lvl 65 it is a really frustrating experience. It depends however a bit on boss- and maptype. These are the two main color-issues in my experience:

  • The D4 color palatte is very dark and toned down in general. D3 was a lot “flashier” and colorful so I had less problems there (for instance in D4 I can’t distinguish the color of rare from a leg in the inventory)
  • Almost all dangerous attacks are red

I think one good solution (at least for me) would be if I could individually set the color of the Boss attacks to something like a flashy yellow and in general individualize the color palette of the game a bit more.

Or to sum it up: Right now especially Pit Boss fights are super frustrating because its too much red, no glowing outlines and sometimes too dark.
