Are just getting annoying now lol, i really like D4 and the way season 4 is going, but the one shot mechanics in pit bosses…are just frustrating, feels like your punishing us for playing the game.
Today was kinda the last punch for me, tier 85 is what i normally run for pits without getting 1-shotted. Today the one boss just kept killing me with those PITA Lilith attacks. It’s at this point i just stop and play something else, i’ll give D4 another run tomorrow i guess.
I was doing 100+ pit runs comfortably. now, the AI generated mob selection gives me nothing but -increased health- (and ofc damage resist/poison explosion billions of spiders) mobs which seems to have some hidden effect on the boss fight as well. oh and i’m killing tons more mobs with less of the bar filling, the pit trying to stretch the timer out hahaha. even dropped 10+ tiers for lols. almost about ready to hang up my jacket.
It is right now lol, between 1 shot BS pit bosses, bricking items while tempering, and greater affix items constantly rolling with absolute the worst stats, the fun has just ended for me.
I work 10 hour shifts, sometimes 12s, i will not come home and burn what time i do get to game, on what feels like another job lol.
This would be valid for Souls like game that is what I play when I want to test my skill.
ARPG should always allow you to bypass mechanics by items. Always for all classes.
Cant even imagine playing necro without Bloodmist to ignore all the crap that exist.
There is a recently released vampire game where the devs wanted me to dash / evade / etc. in PvE. It’s a regurgitated PvP gameplay from their previous game.
And guess what? I’ve uninstalled it after 40 minutes, no interest in quasi-PvP teenager stuff at all.
Genre defines certain rules/expectations otherwise it does not belong to the genre. Basic logic.
Wouldn’t you be surprised if suddenly we had 1st person shooting simulator as one dungeon or horse race dungeon ? Sure would because it does not belong to the genre.
