If you want horse immersion there’s always Red Dead. You can even drag people. You can pretend it’s us from the forums.
I like horsiii too but i dont use it often. I dont skip mobs. I fight and walk my way like a m…f… 
Change it to a faster speed creature and animate it that way.

In fact make it 2x faster with some demonic creature with muscled thighs.

i literally just wanted a horse that still goes fast if my cursor isnt far away.

We definitely need true to life horse physics. Gaming flagship titles like “adventures on the horse farm” have since years. 
I’m fine with the horse speed, it’s a little fast but it controls well. When I’m not in a hurry I walk anyway to fight and pick berries.
Now, the first time I see a chopper blow by me, that’s where I draw the line!
Sit on a real horse and let it sprint. Guess thats also fast. Niahahahahaaaa

Ah yes, nothing breaks immerson like a horse that moves faster than… regular toons? They could really make it immersive by requiring us to spend 10 million gold at the new Equestrian vendor to get horse shoes every two weeks. Then, we could spank it and feed it one carrot like Zelda: OOT. There is nothing more immersive though than just pressing a button and a horse pops up, right? That’s very realistic.

I have pointed out all the reasons I hate the new horse in the original post. This is not a troll topic.
Everything I have pointed out is a legtimte point, have you even rode the new horse yet, it looks ridciulous and doesnt feel like a horse.
I will take how dumb it looks if it means it will feel a crapton better. I shoudn’t have to, but I do not miss the way it seemingly randomly slowed down or had a limited turning radius and got caught on stuff before.
Really, I would rather it was slightly slower and continued to make me feel drawn into the games world and atmopshere, rather than looking and feeling so ridiculous.
Not gonna lie. Im always looking at my mini map when im riding… i would never notice this.
