The dark red line is the route suggested by the game. The green line is the shortcut suggested by my human brain. Before the snarky remarks, the whole point of the route feature is to make it so you don’t have to keep opening up your map. It’s not a very good feature if the suggested route is 10 times longer than it needs to be. The game is simply missing pathing nodes in that section of the map.
It also doesn’t work in dungeons for like zero reason
A 2 hour fix will take them 6 months to get to it.
Works about as good as my Garmin did when I was out driving a truck for a living. Had to switch to Rand McNally to get accurate routes.
If only the suggested path would change if you went off route…ohwait it does.
Tell me you didn’t look at the picture without telling me you didn’t look at the picture.
I did. Seems that the route is based on the game world topography because there are plenty of zones where the route zig zags a bit but it could be a straight shot, the only thing I see is that the terrain levels are changing.
So when you move your route changes.
This city is really the place where this issue is the most noticeable in my opinion. Aside from this place I think it’s decent.
I assume it is a glitch due to how the city is used during the story.
