I played with a Necro, full legendary itemization, tryed 4 builds - blood, shadow, bone and corpse generating, none could defeat the final Boos…
I did not have problems to get there, i could do the dungeon without much trouble…but the final Boss, when my barriers ended, and potions gone he killed me like in 2 hits…
Some Necro could do the job? Another classes ok, but Necros?
It was 10+ level difference…
What outcome did you expect?

no expectations, just to see in the community if it was doable…i tried because the rest of the chalenges where too easy…and i cannot find the butcher anymore…
İ couldnt do it with a flurry rogue tbh
tried a couple of times but was nowhere near so gave up… dont think it is necro specific

Had a small group of us, failed to get past the second poison miniboss resurrection on sat night. We farmed a bunch of Legs doing the same technique as everyone else. Farmed a bunch of dunegeons for better rares to imprint.
Came back on sunday and stomped it. Barb, Druid and Necro.
I’d say it would be quite tough to do solo but some peeps been hard farming and I’d imagine it could be done.
Tried it with druid and a friend on barbarian. Got to final boss but couldn’t defeat it. We were close tho - only the final segment to go. I’m kinda happy we couldn’t in a way though because it was a 10 level diff and it felt right that we couldn’t.
Also I saw butcher twice and killed him.

my cold sorc killed him very fast, necro can’t.
I killed him on druid, but it was WT1

on T1, I was able to complete the boss on a sorc. T2 i was only able to get the event to 35% and i was out of pots.

Thx guys, i wanna know this because i played only in WT2- i forgeth that i could switch difficulties!
I killed the 4 level 21 open world bosses with my lvl 10 ranged rogue. I think the outcome of any class that tries to kill a 10 level higher boss on WT2 should be a walk in the park equaly to the experince I had with the rogue.
I haven’t even touched that boss a was busy writing feedback down for my barb ^^.
I’ve managed to with my 20 lvl flurry rogue, WT2, at the 2nd try.
The trick is that at some point this vampire-boss shoots series of very strong attacks that kill You almost instantly. You need to stop whatever You’re doing when the series start and run away from it - or e.g. hide behind the boss’ back. Avoiding the series three time is usually enough to survive the fight.
In the previous beta I was also able to kill the vampire with Necro and Sorc - though I guess those classes had been much more powerful then, and well, I had them at 25 lvl at that time.

Got very close on my Necro WTII, cleared the whole area solo and got the final boss down to 20-30% HP on multiple attempts. I’m looking forward to have my revenge on launch now that server slam is over.
Damn what a blast, was originally gonna main Rogue but not anymore.

I finished kor dragan on everything except druid on wt2, it’s definetly doable.
Killed him with daggers rogue.
Solo and carried 1 person on tier 2. Thorns barbarian.
Nah me neither, servers were down when I was gonna give it another shot yday but I’m sure it’s possible as Necro.
Was a fun challenge.
I did it on my Blood Surge Necro, relatively easily too since bloodmist pretty much negated that one attack completely where he auto shoots out black gunk.
