This wasn’t a big deal when you didn’t have many keys to manage, but this season we have:
- standard nightmare dungeons
- bloodied nightmare dungeons
- slaughterhouses
- bloodied lair boss keys
- undercity tributes
- regular hordes keys
- bloodied hordes keys
Hordes mostly gets a pass because they stack (not bloodied and regular, plus the 6 wave version should not exist). Tributes also mostly get a pass but also too many variants. The rest though, yeesh. There’s zero reason, at bare minimum, that bloodied lair boss and slaughterhouse keys should not stack. Every single ked bardu slaughterhouse or bloodied duriel key is the exact same. Having them each take up a slot while its raining nightmare keys is more frustrating than it is engaging.
I’ve been salvaging mine.

yeah salvage the keys you don’t want to run is the way to go
If it’s got endless butchers, I pass. It’s a piss poor effort.

I will admit, endless butchers in the dungeon was more annoying than cool. I haven’t done another one yet, but usually only run dungeons with good mods.
just put the keys you dont need in the stash? or expand it? not that hard
You are completely missing the point here.
My bag was overloaded with keys before reaching lvl 60, a first. Way too many different key types that don’t stack.

Agreed. They really need a better way to do keys. And if same dungeon, stack them FFS!!
no, you didnt read what i said. just put the keys you dont need in the stash in town.
how hard is that? i have a full tab of keys just to use for other toons ffs
also, you can go to the npc and trash any keys you dont want…
this. ive been stashing some (equipment and gem ones) and trashing the rest. i guess ppl want to have their hands held every step of the way
I read, and again, you are missing the point ^^
The issue isn’t the space those keys take itself. We kinda now we can put things in the stash and recycle keys, most of us did play the game once or twice
We are saying that we have way too many different key types, and additionally they don’t stack.
This season, they added a bunch of new key types, that also don’t stack between each others. This is insane management, and needs to be changed quite obviously.

I personally do trash them of course … but.
so what youre saying is, you only want certain dungeons to be represented? what if other players want those other ones that you dont want?
they have the key management system in place for a reason. use it
I feel like you’re going to pop, Raven.
- Yes, you can salvage keys.
- Yes, you probably have more keys than you’ll ever use.
- Yes, keyrings or stackable keys would be helpful.
- Yes, you can also just salvage or drop them to solve the problem.
No one said that. It seems your objective here isn’t to discuss…
The key system was already bad before, and now it is obvious that it needs an upgrade. This is one of the few system that never changed since added.
There are too many different key types, nothing less nothing more, I can’t explain it to you in a better way.
I don’t have any other system to put forward and it isn’t my role to do that either.
Yes, you can stash, salvage, drop your keys. And if there were less different key types or if they stacked or if there was another way to have the same functionality in an easier to manage way, then it would be better as we would spend less time managing our keys.
Can we at least agree on that last part? ^^
