Campfire talk seemed like an overall Win
However, based on how blizzard has been executing things i would expect chaos again in 2 weeks.
Here will be some of the common complaints:
XP
Xp buff: Too easy to level.
Xp buff: Cant find upgraded gear fast enough to scale with minions upon leveling up.
Bosses
Duriel: unbalanced, loot pinata or too hard with poison.
Duriel: char level requirement is to high in order to kill.
Duriel Uber unique drops: way too common.
Farming duriel materials: chore, takes too long.
New bosses: unbalanced, loot pinatas or to hard with elemental restrictions.
Bosses: Drop too many repeat cosmetic items or nothing at all.
Blood mechanics
Season 2 mechanics: 1-2 meta blood skills.
Season 2 mechanics: op broken blood skills that will take 2 weeks to get fixed or not at all (like s1).
Season 2: Rehash of Season 1
Season 2: Helltide reskin
Season 2: Mechanics take up too much stash space.
Nightmare Dungeons
Nightmare dungeon Objective removal: most dungeons still have objectives.
Dungeon events: still way to slow to start and end, mob density still not enough.
Less dungeon backtracking: heard this one before.
Rework dungeon maps: no meaningful change was actually done.
Paragon glyphs xp increase: unbalanced, to fast or to slow.
Horse
Horse: still stops randomly.
Horse: still has issues auto jumping terrain.
Overworld
Farming helltides: XP feels bad, loot feels bad to farm, only used for boss mats.
Whispers: Xp, Loot still bad. Gold reward still to low. Not rewarding to farm other than for boss mats.
Scroll of escape: will still bug during dc and not proc when it should.
Gold drops from useless items in wt4: not enough gold will drop to pay for upgrades.
Mats from useless item in WT4: Mats physically drop and you can’t auto-pickup materials like gold.
Minimap zoom: still doesnt zoom out enough.
Enchanting
Enchanting costs: Still scale way to much.
Renown
Renown removal: No reason to have this in the game. Fix it or remove it.

Having any bosses where the entire mechanic is “stack Poison Resist” is really, really dumb. Just more gear and less space to have to lug around.
Know what would fix that? Loadout Profiles you can swap to.
There will always be complaints regardless of how much content, quality of life, and additional things they add to the game.
Also you forgot one:
Consumables Tab
Will be filled with a bare minimum of 9 additional items at all times thanks to the new Pact items for the seasonal mechanic, and the new items you need to summon the 5 bosses. With a potential of 13 total slots being filled thanks to the Pact removal items you have to craft. Which leaves little room for Elixirs and NM Sigils.
Regardless, I’m still going to play Season 2. The game still needs a lot of work, but at least it’s heading in the right direction.

I’m sure there will still be issues the main thing imo is not to drastically change too much. The slow methodical and gradual changes and adjustments is a good thing. Go too crazy and we’re just playing D3, go too conservative and we’re probably back to D2. But continue to iterate and adjust over time and we have something truly unique hopefully out of all 4 that is highly enjoyable.
Then once you hit that sweet spot and go platinum you build upon that foundation.

The complainers will always complain. The grass is never green enough. This is endgame for them.

There wasn’t much hype to begin with. We are still a good year out until we leave beta. Stashes are still a mess, itemization still sucks, resistances still aren’t in, leaderboards do not exist. Game was released way too early.

Yeah I wasn’t expecting much even from this last campfire and was pleasantly surprised. Hopefully the next one is good as well and hype will be somewhat increased. But definitely still not quite there, so during and post season 2 into season 3 is still important.

That seems to be the only thing repeating as of current excluding speculations without proof.
Inventory “tetris” if we can call it that even isn’t anything new. Folks will handle it. Forum would still be full tho.

You need to go take a nap or something. Let’s review:
“Duriel’s drops are way too common” but at the same time
“farming the Duriel key takes way too long”
So you’re telling me that after all that grinding for a chance to kill Duriel, you don’t want him to drop loot. But you don’t want to go farm more keys either cuz it takes too long. You’re literally just whining for the sake of whining.

I feel like the only thing that honestly worries me is that gear is going up, without enemies going up.
This game is already really easy, one of the reasons I did like parts of it is that it’s not as trivialized as most of the other ARPGs yet.
I hope we get a tier boost soon too, or new content with vicious monsters.
They’ve evolved to The Minority Report.

There’s always going to be a group of unhappy, noisy people no matter what they do, because Blizzard decided they want to please two very different groups, with opposing views of what makes an ARPG good, with this game. The funny part is, their attempts to split the baby down the middle had the entirely predictable outcome of enraging both camps.

Ppl who expect the day to be bad will have a bad day. Thats not because their day was bad but because they focused on the negative and cant enjoy the good things.
