I’ve only reached level 32 and I find myself struggling to enjoy it. I can only play maybe a few levels a day. Sitting there looking at stats to see what the best upgrade is just so I can do a little more damage is such a waste of time. The unnecessary amount of stats on gear and just in the game make it extremely frustrating. I know at this level it “doesn’t matter as much” but still…I’d like to level with some degree of fun and ease…not terrible easy where I get one legendary and I’m plowing through everything but still how the game is set up now I feel like its not sustainable
Game has awful itemization and feeling of progression, i totally agree, it’s not exciting to level up in any way.
So you played for 2 hours and find it boring and don’t like the game.
You should ask for a refund. It sounds like you fit the requirements for a refund.
Good luck to you in the future.
I often feel that way about this type of ARPG … the “loot treadmill” style
Nothing wrong with not liking a game. With Diablo I am enough of a fan that the lore that is here keeps me, I like to read the little notes, meet the NPCs do the side quests but ya its not for everyone
The game had potential at first - it looks like originally they were going to add more side quests and expand on the open world. These features are what brought new players to the franchise at D4’s launch.
Unfortunately, they have caved into whiners and have decided to cater to ‘‘It’s A DiabLo GamE! We JusT wanT To KiLl DeMons!’’ idiots moving forward so all that interesting stuff has been abandoned.
The game is now just ‘‘run around in a circle pressing one button over and over’’ as that is apprently what the playerbase wants. They just want to kill demons.
I mean ya I get your point and your not wrong I have always loved what we used to call Dungeon Crawlers, they used to be slower-paced, narrative-driven or at least that is how my rose-coloured goggles remember them and I really do get board of the loot tread mill quickly
I do hope they don’t abandon the narrative aspect of Diablo … it is supper small and a bit weak but its better than nothing IMO
On low levels, just pick the bigger damage number. It doesn’t really matter what other stats the items provide.
Better get used to it, you will be doing that same thing season, after season, after season. This game will be dead about 5 minutes after PoE 2 or w/e game comes out.
Pick a level any level.
well, you know, you can always quit, and play a game thats even more casual oriented.
Ain’t that the truth!
So sad.
regarding this you can thank the players who instantly open up a thread and cry cause mobbXYZ killed them.
Then don’t play it.
Simple.
its so weird that some people here arent able to figure how to use their time right?
i mean if i found d4 boring, i wouldnt even be here. id just play whatever game catches my interest ^^
I mean I spent a lot of time away from the forums, but I don’t remember anyone complaining about side quests and actual content.
My memory, and it might be wrong, is that most of us old timers were complaining about lack of content at launch, not too much content.
But hey, keep up that revisionist history and all that.
Well, somewhat. There was a ton of complaining about having to do sidequests to get Renown.
Which over time seems to mostly have turned into complaints about doing… anything at all instead of just being handed a lvl 100 character with uber uniques on day 1.
I have come to the conclusion that some people on this forum will complain about everything.
Now someone should complain about me complaining about other people complaining.
These are the two worst parts of D4 and only exist for marketing / checkboxes to put on the box.
the idea of throwing nados in doggo form seems fun. but when you realize you made it to 100 in hc and still dont have the build enabling item… the fun fades quick.
silly game.
It “doesn’t matter as much” at max level either.
