Doing pit, all was fine untill i reached 65, now i sit and beg for help. Should i drop my spec and respec? I play the frozen orb build. Single target seems so extremely bad.
65? A naked barb/necro could do it on ez mode, we need infinite fire shield and godly masterworks
You need to masterwork the conjuration to at least +3, then a lot of attack speed everywhere. Affix and aspect, use unstable current and Accelerating aspect. Also watch whether you have enough mana when you are in max speed. Use Ice Blade + Frozen orb enchantment. Use Summoned Hydra to burn your target as you no longe use fire bolt.
Even with all of this, i used to be one shot on bosses. It’s fast to clean the map but long to kill bosse.
I’m rerolling my stuff to switch to immotal frozen orb build, but stats are hard to get.
i completed T100 as FO sorc, probably can do higher, but this build is extremly expensive.
You need endless Flame shield and minimum 48 attack speed based with like 45-50 CDR and more than 70% crit chance with esus. You need shako, near perfect fracture and etc. You need a lot. And you not only need those items you also need x2-x3 masterworking on flame shield, on conjuration, on mana per second, on cdr, attack speed and etc. Extremly expensive build as i told before, to be able to even reach half naked necro-barb results.
I probably couldn’t build this sorc w/o leveling necro and farming fast pits t95-t100.
I just liked Fo sorc this season this much but you probablly should switch to firebolt and be meta
All 3 meta build for sorc include FO, Blizzard and firebolt involve permanent flameshield or long duration flameshield with low cool down. Blizzard Ice spike use Yen’s Bless to keep a good uptime for flameshield and ice armor. The reason is not much about survivability, is to eliminate wasting time hiding from the shadow boss. This PIT design definitely need to revamp if the developer want Sorc give up the cheesy permanent immune build so we can clear the PIT like what we did in PTR, just slightly buff the tier need T150 to T200 to keep it a challenging content.
Roll barb Necro or even rogue, sorc is a waste of time, you will be hard capped at t80 or at t100.with immortal flame shield. Abuse
I took up my chain lightning sorc from season 2 and am struggling at pit 35. Sorc seems to be the go to for helltides but some other char needs to farm up the pit mats for her.
