You can turn off the sound prompts in the settings.

Agree though, hard to try out different builds when it take 10 hits to fill the spirit bulb and 3 hits to drain it.

Pick up a better build.

Please post a build guide that doesn’t have this problem early game. It would vastly improve my overall experience and I would be eternally grateful.

Well it won’t let me post link so I’ll give you the titles to looks on youtube.

I started with: Diablo 4 - New Best Druid Leveling Build - Season 1 FAST 1 to 50 - Skills Paragon & Gear Guide! (by RagegamingVideos)

since it was the easiest to get aspect for (basicaly you just need chapter1 season aspect)

Then after I’ve got the right aspect I’ve switched to: Diablo 4 - OP Druid LEVELING Build (Season 1) (by screamheart).

I just farm the first malignant tunel the seasonal quest lead you to (can’t remember the name) and I usualy clear it in 5mins cuz I’m bad and I also waste time farming the malignant hart. Would be in under 4mins otherwise with nothing upgraded.

I also have crap none upgraded gear. I say crap cuz I don’t even waste time looking at the state on the items that I loot, I just use the highest item rating one, so I don’t loose time min maxing while leveling.

EDIT: put your best aspect on your amulet and just don’t botter upgrading it. The lsot of stats will be off-setted by the 100% buff on aspect put on ammy.

I put my other aspect on my rings and don’t botter upgrading them to not loose their malignant either.

Replace your jewelry only if you got a new aspect and malignant to spare.

Welcome to diablo 4.
You summarise the game.

Use basic WW build.

2.5 clicks of stormstrike for 3 clicks of shred and very easy to improve that ratio with skills/gear.

You know what I absolutely despise about this?

I hate Storm Strike because of how loaded with utility it is. It’s too good for a basic ability, making Claw basically worthless. Even Greatstaff of the Crone is a unique that basically says “Hey, we made Claw not suck because we attached Storm Strike to it!” and I absolutely cannot stand it.

The nerf from 25% to 15% damage reduction cuts that back, but still I agree.

Most spirit, damage reduction, vulnerable application - hard to beat that trifecta. Claw has lucky hit and poison, so useful in theory, just not in reality. It feels like the game’s creators though ‘people are going to use basic attacks to deal damage!’ not realizing that wasn’t the case.

It also chains to two targets by default lol

I’m just hit 71 and I’m loving my drood. However I will say the first like 40-50 levels were a beating. It does feel like we’re pretty bad DPS/survival wise until you really start focusing on end game gear ie damage reduction. Im playing a basic pulverize wearbear build and went through some variations with trampleslide as well. That being said I feel like after 65ish with some ancestral gear on the class is filling out fine and in really enjoying it.

Exactly. Meanwhile, Claw can attack a little faster, apply a small poison, or maybe hit twice, all single target! Oh boy!

I just want to Werewolf enemies in the face without having to gimmick myself into lightning or the clunky poison effects of poison shred node, blurred beast, human form Poison Creeper, terrible Rabies.

I want to high crit physical Shred and I want Lacerate to not suck a werewolf turd so I can just generically rip and tear through crap. HARRUMPH.

Thats how blizzard seems to have designed everyones sadly. At least, be happy that we have a good basic skill while leveling. I was a sorc pre-season and their basics just feel horrible.

Is the prize to pay. At lvl 60+ Druids are incredible.

I, reluctantly, reinstalled the game after I swore it off after the changes. I went with shred druid…again…and sweet hells is it terrible. I can’t stomach more than 30 minutes at at time after the changes. It’s just so un-fun. It’s slow, shred hits for nill damage, and the heal/dmg reduction nerf is really felt after 15 when scaling really kicks in.

I also dont remember the spirit offerings dropping so little. I don’t think any other class has this “drop” mechanic for the class quest. It needs just removed after you unlock the boons. It’s dumb and has no purpose.

Yeah. I’ve been bashing my face against my keyboard in general Shred frustration.

And I thought the druid offerings seemed sparse this time around. I didn’t unlock the boons until I had ALL of the offerings, so I didn’t unlock anything until like mid-30s or something. Didn’t take that long before, for sure.

Going to plod along and stick with it, paragon a bit differently this time, and hope that I can at least halfway do what I want to do with it, but I’m not very hopeful.

I have a strong feeling that unless I go a Storm Wolf variant or a Bear variant I’m going to be trailing far behind everything.

Don’t forget the 47.5% nerf on total armor while in werewolf - for boots and amulet.

Have you tried shepherd’s aspect? I built my original shred druid around it and it got a sizeable buff. Bit of a glass cannon, but always wins ‘who’s the fastest killer’ races for global events.

I’m only 23 (I think) - so not even at that point. It’s just so awful I don’t even want to play the class. Night and day different from pre-season.

Go landslide poison creeper, at your level the whole screen should just get deleted. Druids are a tierA, maybe even tierS leveler. in 20’s rogues are even slower.

Thats not a build I’m interested in.
