The damage bucket system is WAYYYYY too complex

Anyone else still confused by this entire system and trying to figure out overall damage and whats multiplicative and whats an additive while also factoring in your skill damage and the affixes and aspects???

I feel like i do more math than playing the game.

Haven’t they settled on mainstat, overpower, crit, vul and everything else are the only buckets?

It’s main stat, crit (chance / damage), vulnerable and then… everything else. :slight_smile:

What about your aspects and skill damage in the skill tree?

universal damage increase x vulnerability x crit damage x the rest of the crap. ← throw that all out of the window, get highest item power and stuck it in there. it’s all sham just like armor vs resistance, just grab all armor + fortify if ur class allows it.

Yes the itemization is garbage

My least favorite thing about D4 is the dog-tier itemization.

Why can’t they just color code damages that fall in the same bucket. Seems like a simple fix to me
