I would also add that with the current game mechanics there are stats on gear that no build would ever take. Examples: Impairment Duration, Life on Kill/Hit, %Healing Received, Some Lucky Hit Affixes.
This is because the game (right now) is about being full HP or dead. If not we have plenty of potions to cover healing.
These stats lower the chance of getting the right stats for our builds and it feels bad looking at a whole inventory of items only to sell everything except one item that we brick with tempering a minute later.
Like OP said this starts shortly after getting to level 100.
