the first time i meet the butcher in the beta was awsome…
meet him a total of 3 times during the beta…
the last 3 dungeons back to back have had a butcher encounter… at this point im just expexting him witch pretty much makes him feel boring…
and today he dropped his mount cosmetic… what a dissapointment… i was kinda expecting a huge cleaver but when i put it on my horse it look like its a butterknife…
so imo he spawns too freqently and his drops sux…
Yeah the trophy is a bit underwhelming, it could be bigger. if that was actual size then it would be kinda sick though.
I’m not a fan of him either. He always shows up at the most annoying times and he’s just a drag to fight. He rarely drops anything of value too.
He’s like a flaring hemorrhoid, just shows up uninvited and doesn’t provide anything of value.
I actually love the butcher, probably due to the immense amount of nostalgia I feel about Butchy Boy. I’ve seen him at least 10+ times now, it’s a thrill every time for me. I would like to see better drop rates from him though.
Unless they increased the spawn rate I guess… RNGesus…
Between 3 weekend betas and 100ish hours played so far I’ve seen Butcher once, lol
also he is so easy to kill at t4 @lvl70+. He lasts only 3-5 seconds . Where ‘s my Butcher the Terrible from beta? Shouldn’t he scale to world tier and players’ levels?

Before tonight, I hadn’t encountered him since around my mid-40s. (I’m 76 now)
Tonight he shows up… the split second I grabbed a Conduit Shrine. I just proceeded to electrocute him from 100-0 in the span of about 8 and a half seconds.
Butcher hit some crap RNG on that one…
