So season 9 I started with a Rogue. So far, so good. From previous Diablo games, I am used to the fact, that all the different character need something to do magic.
The wizard uses mana, the necromancer uses some green goo, the berserker used yellow-orange goo and the rogue uses dark-purple goo.
Not important, what the name is, it is however important to see, how much of the goo is used by your character at any given.
My rogue appear to never use the goo at all, but I can determine that I don’t have enough goo to cast the knife-dance.
On my overview in ultra-detail, the bubble that shows the goo is always full and never moves down, like it is supposed to.
It would be very helpful to make my rogue see, how the bubble of goo is filled or not and anything in between.
It’s called Energy and Energy regenerates quite fast on its own
Not all skills have an Energy cost
Basic Skills are Energy Generators you use them to regain any energy you’ve spent
Core Skills are Energy Spenders they have various costs of energy you need to have before you can cast them
Mobility skills such as Dance of Knives don’t use Energy instead they rely on a Cooldown and Charges
Dance of Knives specifically uses Charges you have certain amount charges that you deplete as you use the Skill and once you run out of Charges you have to wait for a short while for the Charges to Recharge
Under certain conditions you can use Dance of Knives indefinitely. You can consult a guide how to achieve that
Subterfuge Skills don’t have Enegy cost and some of them even restore Energy and have a Cooldown
Imbuements also don’t have an Energy cost but use a mix of Charge system and Cooldown. When you press an Imbue skill you gain certain amount of charges after depleting the charges the skill goes on cooldown
Ultimates also don’t use Energy instead have long Cooldowns. There are means to massively reduce these cooldowns and you can consult a guide centred around these skills to learn the know how
