Some nerfs were needed and we knew they were coming, but some buffs or changes to key issues to offset the sting a bit would have been appreciated.

You know, nerfs are okay when warranted. All this patch did was make everything less fun, to the point where what little interest I had in participating in the first season has completely evaporated.

nerfs can be necesary, bone spear was broken, hota was not working as intended, but this is something else, its making the game slower both in leveling and in combat, just turn it into a swamp.

Nor did they improve the viability of anything else, despite them justifying these changes over and over again for that reason. It’s a joke.
The game needs 13 pages of nerfs. And much more than that. This was a good start.
It also should have some buffs, and yeah, the patches was a bit lacking in that department.
At least now you get to waste 2 more seconds of your life each time you leave a dungeon !

I am returning to WoW to kill my time now. These patch notes have killed my excitement for the season this week. And to think I was pumped yesterday for this week. Will periodically check the d4 news in the next few months to see if they start caring.

Hey we here at blizzard noticed you were all thinking of way to increase your survivability in hard content so we decided to nerf this for no possible good reason but we just came up with a reason were blizzard enjoy 
god this game is going down hill
It also did nothing to address non-viable builds. Every class had large sections of their boards that really will not take you through all of the content, and some of those things got very small buffs… but then survivability was reduced globally. So we’re in the same spot we were Monday.
Blight necro got buffed, but with the universal nerfs you still should play bone spear instead. 13 pages to essentially do nothing.

Out of all of the bizarre junk in the patch notes, this is the one that stood out as the most ridiculous. They just want to do ANYTHING they possibly can to slow us down.
