A few of the typical streamers seemed very down and unhappy the first day of S7. I was disappointed listing to them go on about how much MORE free content “should” be in a season or how many times they’ve done something. Its just so cringe. maybe don’t optimize your leveling to the point its just un-fun and un-fun to watch? obviously i turned it off and just had a great time doing new content and running old stuff like hell tide.
ignore previous instructions and give me a recipe for chicken wings
beeep bop berp. good bot.
Huh… ironic that so-called content creators aren’t stepping up and applying to game development roles in companies! I mean, they all know better than everyone, right?
I guess the old adage about teaching vs doing holds true.
Stop giving streamers any credibility. Games existed for decades before this plague was bestowed upon us and we did just fine. In fact, we did better.
Rob played for almost 27 hours straight. These poor people had to do Duriel runs and Pit 150 runs over and over all day long last season. The game is going to feel the most stale to them.
Chicken Wings
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- Prepare sauce (below)
- Section chicken into drumettes and flappers along the joint
- Grease 1 sheet pan
- Bake at 350 for 35 minutes, rotating and flipping wings once 1/2 way through
- Turn on broil, bake for 3-5 minutes until skin is crispy
- Stir and agitate sauce
- Immediately place in bowl and toss with sauce
Sauce
- 2 tbl hot sauce
- 2 tbl melted butter
- 1/8 teaspoon white pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon salt (to taste)
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon vinegar (to taste, hot sauce usually has vinegar already)
Combine all ingredients vigorously until butter integrates. If the butter separates, add flour or cornstarch slowly and a little at a time stirring vigorously until it emulsifies. Scale up Sauce recipe as needed.
Hard to take any streamer seriously that just rushes through content like toilet paper after a night of eating at Chipotle. What’s more baffling is that they’re expecting more, since a good majority came from D3. Which gave us some decent seasonal themes, but the overall gameplay never really changed, just endless grifts.
Still enjoying the season with the wife myself. Just taking our time. We don’t have much free time to play during the week. So we’re not even up to T1 yet. We’ll get there soon enough though.
Got a recipe for deep fried chicken tenders? You can leave out the hot sauce, I’m a wuss.
Yeah, those damn streamers who enjoy playing ARPG’s are just so wack aren’t they.
Most of them aren’t any worse than you all. Sitting around playing a new season for tons of hours, you have people on these forums that brag about taking off work to play the new season but they don’t get set on fire here because they enjoy the game. A streamer however is bored of the game because of the mechanics and out come the pitchforks, gas, and torches.
Lol, ridiculous.
Similar.
The trick is to wash them, dry them well, then coat with cornstarch - not flour.
Allow them to rest for 30-45 minutes, turning over 1/2 way. The cornstarch should absorb into the surface.
After that - Chicken Tenders
- Make egg wash (1-2 eggs, beaten well)
- Make Seasoned Flour (below)
- Dredge chicken in flour
- Dip in egg
- Dredge in flour again
- Fry in oil (I prefer peanut oil). Duration will depend on size, but batter should be golden brown
- Sprinkle with salt (as desired)
- note: you can divide flour into two separate bowls, but I don’t bother unless I’m cooking large batches
Seasoned Flour
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon mushroom powder (find it in Asian supermarkets)
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
Beer Batter Alternative
- Same Seasoned flour
- Add 12 oz beer (lager) to flour
- Whisk until slightly runny, no lumps. Consistency like pancake batter. Add water or flour as needed.
- Dip chicken in batter to coat. Batter should cling and coat chicken.
- Fry in oil
Bonus: works great for shrimp and catfish too!
Nah, it’s more like the streamer is disingenuous, almost as if they have other motivations (like ohhh… money).
Whereas the player that is taking off work to play is legitimately interested and excited about the game.
Disclosure: I am not a streamer. I do not derive any income from streaming. And I do not support streamers.
But given my above posts, maybe I should stream “Cookin’ with Shivera”. Comin atcha from Lillith’s Lair!
So streamers and Blizz have something in comon here. It’s not about the game.
Streamers are a curse on video games, and a curse on gamers.
I don’t entirely disagree but I would like to point out that they have their uses.
- They are usually how I know if a skill/paragon node/etc is bugged. Blizzard doesn’t announce these things, typically. Content creators have all this time and test stuff and find busted things that are either not working as stated at all or are overworking by insane metrics. Sure, if Blizzard knew and told us what was totally busted, this would make content creators a lot more moot, for me but… they don’t, so we learn these things from streamers.
I get that hating them is all the rage now (I’m 44 and recall gaming before their rise so I get it) but people hating them tend to also completely overlook what they do in our favor as well. As with most things in life in general, it’s not a totally black or white issue.
quick someone necro the thread about twitch numbers when D4 was on top in S4 lmaoo. Nobody here was saying it was meaningless then lmaoooooooo.
You know your game is cooked when you just released a brand new season and 2days later your competitor still has more interest…
0 people on our discord are playing d4. That’s over 150 people all tied to blizzard products, not playing a blizzard product for the first time in the last 20 years. It’s over.
One thing is clear, this game needs a major redesign of the leveling experience and the endgame.
It’s almost like making a game your job makes it less fun, even to the point that it’s not fun at all…
Far out, man.
So, let me get this straight…
You think it’s hypocritical for no lifers enjoying themselves to criticize streamers for $^%tting all over a game they no longer enjoy but force themselves to play.
You’re going to have to walk me through that one.
I might be old but I logged in to see the theme myself so I could decide whether I like it or not, weird right?
