I’ve arrived at the forums today expecting tons of happy posts of people who were as engaged as I was during the beta, and I know from other places and friends, that the general feedback is extremely positive, and all I see is tons of negativity. So if the developers check the forums, just wanted to leave a thank you. For the past couple of years, I wasn’t crazy about any specific game, I thought those days were past, and that new games were just not made for me. This weekend I was hooked, I couldn’t believe I was having the feeling of not wanting to stop playing, because it has been quite some time that that happened. So, small issues here and there, fixed or not, you’ve created a game that made me crazy happy and I cannot wait for June. Thank you blizzard, and congratulations to all the development and creative team.

P.S. I would recommend not taking the official game forums for ANY title as an accurate measure of the overall state of affairs for its players.

There are posts like this one as well, but they don’t get much attention or many replies because they don’t stir pots and aren’t foaming at the mouth. Ignore the loud voices, look for the actual feedback. And like others have said, the official forums for Blizzard anything usually turns into the 2023 version of 4chan.
Yeah, that seems like a good approach to feedback while mine is just a lot of positive tones, but I sometimes imagine what it’s like to work on a game for such a long time and then go to the forum, and see all the negativity. Just wanted to put on a positive vibe

OP, I also can’t believe I had this much fun in D4. I was hooked about the atmosphere, the world design, the voice overs, the music, the animations, etc. Yes, is not perfect, nor close to, but it has all the future ahead.

Strange. You could have been playing diablo 3 for the past 6 years and you’d be playing a game that’s very very similar to D4. If you haven’t played diablo 3 in the past 6 years, go check it out. All of the core systems and rules that you’re seeing in D4 are currently present in D3, except with more depth and in a completed state.
D4 is going to need a lot of work on release to make it a good game. It has serious balancing flaws and the end game goal is overly simplistic and stale. The design intent is to put the least amount of effort as possible into the initial release and then sell people on updates from season to season to get them coming back for the battle pass. IF you think you’re buying a complete product for D4 when it’s released you’re sorely mistaken.
D4 is a playable game, and it’s okay if you’re just looking to play through the story. But it’s not a new game with any new ideas. Many people are in the novelty stage and the ones that claim the game is perfect and a master piece are living in fantasy land. The game is not original in the slightest and lacking in many areas.
Go to Reddit /r/Diablo4 if you want mostly blind gushing praise.
Couldn’t agree with you more. The speed with which Blizz addressed their issues Friday was impressive.

Lots wrong with the game, lots right with the game. Devs are human. Here? Nope, they are indentured servants there for the sole purpose of making a product some tryhard nitwit happy because they ‘know’.

Nothing wrong with showing them some praise if you feel the game is good. Nothing wrong with showing some criticism. Both are fine.
Unfortunately here people take it as a full contact sport.
