Will try the pit again to see if I can progress. Also will attempt the Lilith fight.

You might want to wait until June 17th when the patch arrives.
To be fair he didn’t say he would try it right away.

You didn’t say when you planned to retry pit, so wanted to head off any potential disappointment in case you were heading in today. Mistake I’ve made with early release patch notes before. 
I understand. Right now I’m stuck so I’m just playing another game. Will retry after the patch to see if it’s any better.
They even fixed scoundrels kiss so this patch should be wonderful.
