I’m not clear on how we might trade good rares we come across, would be nice to get some sizable gold, in order to reroll other gear.
If there isn’t an elegant in game interface/auction house, nearly all trading will happen on Discord …
That place is run by a group RMT’ers, so I sure hope not. My guess is it will be D2JSP, which is run by a different group of RMT’ers. Just limit the drops to be tradeable with in the group that dropped them, problem solved.
ill be trading in game only to avoid goofball cheaters that will inevitably ruin this game and require them to turn trading off like before… since blizz doesnt hand out serious bans for cheaters anymore… need to take a page out of SBI (albion devs) book… theyll permaban you first offense and if youre on a new account and they find out they perma ban you again even if you dont RMT on that one… ruthless…
The more I think about it, the nicer it would be just to be able to put an item up for bid/buyout on an in game “AH”, and get back to farming.
The collective time spent by everyone trying to trade:
- everyone constantly logging in/out to spam general/area chat to sell their stuff
- the blight of all that spam,
- posting our stuff on multiple Discords
- If one isn’t careful, trading in PoE can take up enormous amounts of time, not to mention the scams that one can fall prey to if in a rush, or tired
Collectively, its waste of players’ time. Pure cringe.
If Blizz wants to keep the game in a more constrained, manageable state, they could put limits on the trades we could post per day. At least we would have something.
Why not save everyone all the hassle, and ensure legit, automated trades in game? Why not empower a smooth, scam-free trading experience for all? Furthermore, if there is RMT happening w the in game trading system, Blizz would at least have more actionable info to act upon.
TFT is going to be where all the trading happens, the only people left on D2JSP are ones earning points over there.
Blizz knows how to create an AH, just put one up in here again but just dont add the RMT aspect from D3. Allows people to trade without doing it like POE (which everyone detests over there too) and lets people play the fun parts of the game.
